In the past few years, some female Chinese tennis players have made brilliantachievements, such as Li Na, Zheng Jie, Peng Shuai. Because of their contributions andachievements in the field of tennis, China’s tennis career has developed rapidly. Chinesefemale tennis players’ technical and tactical levels have stepped into the forefront areaof the world. Through the technical and tactical comparison among three Chinese playerLi Na, Peng Shuai, Zheng Jie and three foreign excellent tennis players Sharapova,Serena Williams, Kim Clijsters, who can keep their records before top-eight in theworld (all of them have ever got the first prize), this thesis aims to investigate thetechnical and tactical difference between Chinese tennis players and world-famoustennis players. This paper analyzed the six tennis players’ past competition video, and throughthe statistical analysis of their tactics, the paper draws conclusions as follows:1. The six players’ first success serve rate didn’t show distinctive difference, but forthe first time of ace, there was distinctive difference. The rate of the three player’s firstserve was low. When all the players served balls from interior angle and exterior angle, the success rate was high. Tennis players from our country could lower the success rateof the first serve, in order to improve the aggressiveness of serving the first ball. For thesuccess rate for serving the second ball, there was also no distinctive difference betweenChinese players and foreign players. The six players’ second serve from interior angle inthe first court and exterior angle in the second court showed common trend.2. For the rate of successful receiving rate, the gap between Chinese players andforeign excellent players was very small. As to receiving technology choice, most of thetime, the six players chose slice forehand technique, the route was crosscourt shot. Andthe placement was always in the5th region and8th region. 3. For techniques used in the defense stage, slice forehand was the most frequentlyused technique to win point in this stage. In this stage, the rate of using this techniquefor our players was higher than foreign excellent players; this also caused the distinctivedifference in scoring rate between Chinese players and foreign players in the defensestage. Chinese players’ scoring rate was lower than the other three players of theforeign.4. No significant difference was found among the six players in the scoring rate inthe defense stage, but the figures were lower than the three players of the foreign.Compared with the attack stage after serving a ball, the scoring rate in the defense stageafter receiving a ball was lower. The techniques used in the defense stage after receivinga ball, such as slice and high lobs, took up certain proportion.5. Slice forehand on the baseline was the main technique used in the stalemateperiod. The winning point rate was higher than the losing point rate when this techniquewas used. Players from our country should practice the technique of slice forehand towin the opportunity and improve the ability of deadly strike.6. There was significant difference in the total score scoring rate among these sixplayers in the serve stage, receive stage and stalemate stage. Each player’s total scorescoring in the stalemate stage was50%lower than the total score, which means in thecompetition process, more and more score was obtained in the first four round, and italso means women’s speed in the tennis game is faster at present.
