Research On Technical And Tactical Characteristics Of Chinese National Football Team In The Top 12 Of 2018 FIFA World Cup Asian Area Preliminaries

In April 2014,the Board of AFC officially passed a brand new competition system of 2018 Asian FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.The biggest difference of this new competition system is that the number of the team in the final phase of Asian Qualifiers has increased from 10 to 12.China National Football Team has joined FIFA in1931,and they participated qualifiers of 1958 FIFA World Cup in Sweden for the first time.In the decades of competition in Asian World Cup qualifiers,China National Football Team headed into the final phrase in 2001 only.Fifteen years after that,they never won qualifications for the final phase.Until 2016,they headed into the final phase again.This paper analyzed the application and characteristics of the techniques and tactics used in these series by China National Football Team and found out their advantages and weaknesses at this stage,so that I can provide valuable references for them to adjust the way of thinking,promote advantages,avoid shortages,and improve their ability of techniques and tactics.In this paper,I generalized the needed statistical method and indicators through searching relevant research paper in CNKI and reading books such as Football tactics Coordination and Training,Figure out the position kick tactics of football,etc.I also watched videos of China National Football Team in top 12 games and compared the technical and tactical statistics with statistics in FIFA official site.Then I used Excel to process data,analyzed and summarized how China National Football Team used their techniques and tactics in the ten games of top 12 Asian World Cup qualifiers in order to provide theoretical reference for China National Football Team in future.The results of this paper are as follows.1.China National Football Team used four different tactics and formations in ten games.Among the four tactics and formations,5-3-2 was the worst one.Relatively speaking,keeping a balance between offending and defending and taking control of midfield were better for China National Football Team in games.2.In this top 12 games,China National Football Team showed the weak ability in passes and ball control,which is shown in three aspects: low number of passes,low successful rate of passes,and low possession.3.Through the characteristics of the 8 goals in the 10 games,7 of the goals were formed in the penalty area of middle,only one goal were formed on the wing.5 of the goals were passed from the wing of the left?Moreover,the goals were mainly formed during the second halves of the games.4.China National Football Team had highest attack rate and threatening passes rate in the wing of the left;In the free-kick attack tactics of the front court,there is a lack of direct shooting tactics for free kicks;the corner kick tactics lack short-range tactics.
