Study On Urban-rural Differences In Children's Language Preparation For School

The language preparation of children has an important influence on the development of children in all aspects after entering the school.It refers to the expectation of the language development level or state that children should achieve when entering the first grade of primary school,or the language development level or state that children should achieve in order to adapt to the learning environment and task requirements of primary school.In China,the differences between urban and rural preschool education have always existed,so it is imperative to explore and narrow the differences between urban and rural preschool education.In this study,467 children from 6 public kindergartens were selected as the research objects with the methods of literature,test and interview as the research methods,and the language readiness level of urban and rural children was investigated and studied.The main results of this study are:First,compared with other dimensions,the scores of reading comprehension and oral expression,optomotor conversion and visual representation of urban children are relatively low and their preparation level is poor.Rural children have relatively low scores in reading comprehension and oral expression,visual and visual representation,and auditory and motor translation,and poor preparation level.Second,in addition to the dimension of subtle difference recognition,the language readiness of urban children is higher than the national average level of urban children.All dimensions of language school preparation for rural children are higher than the national average level of rural children.Thirdly,there was no significant difference in the language preparation of urban boys and girls,while the reading comprehension and oral expression ability of rural girls was significantly higher than that of rural boys.Fourthly,the language preparation level of urban children is significantly higher than that of rural children.Only slight differences were identified in the dimensions of urban children significantly lower than rural children.Fifthly,there are significant differences in language preparation of urban and rural children of different genders,as follows:1.Urban boys are significantly higher than rural boys in the total score of language entrance preparation,auditory memory and listening comprehension,reading comprehension and oral expression,and reading skills,but significantly lower than rural boys in the dimension of subtle difference recognition;2.Urban girls were significantly higher than rural girls in terms of the total score of language entrance preparation,auditory and motor conversion,auditory memory and listening comprehension,visual and motor conversion and visual reproduction,and reading skills,but significantly lower than rural girls in terms of the dimension of subtle difference recognition.Sixth,there is a significant difference between urban and rural children's learning quality,urban children are significantly higher than rural children.Seventh,there is a strong correlation between children's learning quality and language entrance preparation,and there is a significant multiple linear relationship.To some extent,learning quality can be used to predict language entrance preparation level.
