The mathematics curriculum standard of compulsory education(2011 edition)first proposed 10 " core words ",the computing ability is one of them.With the deepening of the research on the core literacy of mathematics,it is gradually reached a consensus that these 10 "core words " are called the core literacy of mathematics,that is," core words" are the concrete embodiment of the core literacy of mathematics in the stage of compulsory education.And the development of students' core accomplishment is not only the inevitable requirement of the development of the times to education,but also the urgent need to enhance the international competitiveness of education in China.At the same time,operation is a tool to help us solve problems,and operation runs through the whole process of mathematics learning in primary school mathematics.The level of operation ability is directly related to the effect of students' mathematics learning and is an important foundation for students to learn mathematics in the future.This paper focuses on the investigation and research of the sixth grade students' computing ability under the background of core literacy.Based on the division of mathematics computing level in ordinary senior high school mathematics curriculum standard(2017 edition),the author divides the mathematics computing ability of primary school into three levels,the corresponding level of test paper is compiled to investigate and study,in order to understand the current situation of the sixth grade students' mathematics operation ability level in Shijiazhuang,to further analyze the results of the test paper,to think about the problems existing in the mathematics operation of the students,and to put forward some teaching suggestions and cases for reference.This study selected some sixth grade students from two primary schools in Shijiazhuang City as a sample to test,and analyzed the statistical results with Excel and SPSS software to draw the following conclusions :(1)The sixth grade students who take part in the test have certain operation ability,but the overall level still needs to be improved,that is,to strengthen the students' understanding and application of the operation law and the operation law,and to improve the students' ability to solve real life problems through the operation.(2)There is no significant difference in the level of mathematics computing abilityamong students in the sixth grade of different schools and different genders.(3)The reasons for the error in the sixth grade students who took part in the test were: lack of operational interest;do not understand algorithms and algorithms;poor operational habits;other core literacy is weak.(4)Some teachers do not have a deep understanding of core literacy and computing ability,and lack scientific and effective training methods.Based on the above research conclusions and teacher questionnaire,interview results,the author has targeted six teaching suggestions:(1)connecting with real life situations and arousing students' interest in operation;(2)understanding and mastering algorithms and applying them flexibly;(3)combining exercises and comments with each other to cultivate good operation habits;(4)paying attention to the diversity and optimization of algorithms and improving problem-solving ability;(5)improving teachers' own literacy and giving full play to their demonstration role;(6)grasping the core accomplishment as a whole and improving their mathematical operation ability.
