In the primary school stage of compulsory education in our country,the operation has been running through the mathematics teaching all the time,especially in the sixth grade mathematics teaching in the key period of the operation teaching.The importance of operation in primary school mathematics teaching is mainly reflected in three aspects: first,operation runs through the four major sections of mathematics teaching in the whole primary school stage,accounting for a large proportion in each plate;Secondly,in the arrangement of the teaching contents in the primary school stage,operation is the key and difficulty in the mathematics teaching of the whole primary school,especially in the upper grade of the primary school.Finally,the calculation ability of the primary school students is not only a part of their study of mathematics.Basic skills are also a necessary basic skills in the daily life of primary school students.The rational thinking of the students is directly affected by the rational thinking of the students at present and in the future.Through combing the current research situation at home and abroad,the author found that the primary school students' calculation ability research is mostly theoretical research,including the present situation investigation and improvement strategy practice research is relatively few,There are few practical researches on the sixth grade students' computing ability in the key period of primary school operation teaching.The calculation ability is a basic mathematics skill which is necessary for the sixth grade students.With the increase of the calculation amount of the sixth grade mathematics problem,the calculation teaching of the sixth grade is especially important.The students' calculation ability is so important,but in the course of the author's practice,we find that the sixth grade students' arithmetic ability has various problems,such as the correct rate of operation is low,the calculation is not clear,the speed is too slow,and the calculation is not simple,and so on.All these problems directly affect the operation quality of the sixth grade students in primary school,and then affect the students' mathematics achievement.In view of the above phenomena,the author makes a survey on the present situation of the sixth grade students' mathematics operation ability in the practice school,the teacher interview and the student interview and so on to understand the sixth grade student's calculation ability present situation.In this study,three kinds of calculation forms,oral calculation,pen calculation and estimation,are taken as the research contents of students' calculation ability,and the factors that affect the correctness,rapidity and simplicity of the calculation ability of the sixth grade students in primary school are analyzed.This paper investigates the present situation of computing ability in sixth grade of primary school,analyzes the results of the investigation,makes a deep study on the present situation of problems,and obtains effective strategies to improve the operational ability of sixth grade students in practical teaching.The current situation of the sixth grade students' computing ability is mainly reflected in four aspects: the interest in computing,the habit of computing,the accomplishment of operation,the psychological quality of calculation,and so on.This study also puts forward the six aspects from these four main aspects.The improvement strategy of grade students' arithmetic ability,and this research through the pre-experiment and post-test to verify that the proposed improvement strategy is effective.It is hoped that the results of this study can provide valuable reference for the teaching of computing ability of front-line teachers.
