Study On The Current Situation Of Logical Reasoning Literacy Of Five-year Normal School Students

In order to cultivate the talents who can meet the needs of the future development of society,various countries put forward the development of core literacy for the students.The revised mathematics curriculum standard for general high school in 2017 mentioned logical reasoning,which is regarded as one of the six core competence of mathematics;For junior high school students,the book in 2011 revision of the compulsory education involved ten key concepts,which includes reasoning ability;Meanwhile,the Pisa 2021 Mathematical Literacy assessment framework released in May2019,placing logical reasoning at the core;Besides,In the five-year normal school entrance's examination,logical reasoning is also an important part of the exam.To sum up,logical reasoning is the key quality that the students should have.In this paper,I studies the current situation of logical reasoning competence of five-year normal school students by literature,test,questionnaire and statistical analysis,elaborating the questionnaire and test questions.A survey was conducted by some students majoring in mathematics,Chinese,English and Preschool Education,who are from grade one to grade three in Qinxian Normal College of Changzhi University.I collect data by Excel and SPSS22 for the overall mean comparison,one-factor analysis of variance,multiple comparison analysis and correlation test.The main conclusions are as follows:1.About the conclusion of the questionnaire of logical reasoningThe students have generally realized the importance of learning the knowledge of logical reasoning,and hope to develop their logical reasoning ability.Most of the students were able to cooperate with others in the study,while only a small part of them could reflect in logical reasoning problems and solutions.The students thought that the mathematics teacher's explanation was helpful to the students,nearly half of them showed the teacher's teaching method was unitary.2.About the conclusion of the logical reasoning test(1)In the study,I have found that the overall level of logical reasoning ability of the five-year normal school students is generally lower,they have the same level of reasonable reasoning and deductive reasoning.(2)From the perspective of different majors,the average scores in mathematics education major are rather higher than those of the other three majors in various dimensions of structure and content,which is different from the other three majors;However,most dimensions of Chinese and English do not have significant differences;in some dimensions,the average scores of pre-school are higher than those of Chinese education,and there is no significant difference between Chinese and pre-school education.Mostdimensions of pre-school English education are higher than English education,and there is no significant difference.(3)From the point of view of different grades: except that the average score in the first grade is higher than that of the second grade,and that of the second grade is higher than that of the third grade,the average scores of the students in other dimensions increase with the increasing of grades.There is no significant difference in grade one and grade two,while grade one and grade three,grade two and grade three are significantly different in general,but not in some dimensions.(4)There is no correlation between logical reasoning and mathematics reasoning for the students in compound proposition reasoning and deductive reasoning,but only weak correlation in other aspects.Finally,according to the conclusion of the study,I give some advice which is helpful to students in the learning and beneficial to the teachers in the teaching.
