With the change of times and the development of science and technology,video resources are more and more widely used in classroom teaching.The proper use of video resources in the teaching process can not only stimulate students' interest in learning,but also improve the teaching effect of the course.It is helpful for junior middle school students in the compulsory education stage to master the basic knowledge and basic ability of biology,cultivate the emotion of protecting the environment and loving nature,and establish the correct values.In this paper,the junior high school biology textbooks,the days of the eighth grade five of “the major groups of animals”,“animal movement and behavior”,“the role of animals in the biosphere”,“bacteria and fungi” and “virus” 5 chapter 15 section and the sixth in the article “according to the characteristics of biological classification”,“understanding the biological diversity”,“the conservation of biological diversity” careful analysis,the content of chapter 3 courses teaching how to make use of video resources and combine with other teaching methods are also their thoughts.On this basis,the video materials suitable for teaching are collected according to the textbook contents,and the collected videos are screened and edited into short videos again.Screening and editing should take into account as much as possible the content of the course,biological characteristics and human relationships.Screening and editing should take into account as much as possible the content of the course,biological characteristics and human relationships.Results a total of 20 videos of 1800 minutes were selected and edited into 18 short videos of 129 minutes available in class with EDIUS editing software,among which 6 videos were annotated in Mongolian.On the basis of the above preparatory work,the teaching practice of combining video teaching with other teaching methods in the three sections of“ fhih”,“fungus”and“virus”in the textbook is carried out.The video teaching is vivid and vivid,which can stimulate students' interest and hobbies,make students have a deep impression on the teaching content,and help improve the teaching effect and the implementation of quality-oriented education.However,video teaching also has disadvantages such as taking a long time in class,distracting students' attention,and being subject to hardware and software equipment of the school.
