A Comparative Analysis On The Characteristics Of Offensive Tactics Of The Four Top Teams In The 2018 Women's Basketball World Cup

Women's Basketball World Cup is the world's top women's basketball tournament,requiring the world women's basketball gradually to develop towards masculinity,requiring fast attack,high shooting rate,and simplify and efficiency of tactical play.In this World Cup,Chinese women's basketball team defeated Japan,Canada and other strong teams and achieved a good result of the sixth place.This competition showed the future potential of Chinese women's basketball team,and the big gap between Chinese team and world strong teams in offense,therefore this paper uses the references,expert interview method,video observation method,mathematical statistics method and logical analysis method to compare and analyze the offensive skills and tactics between Chinese team and world four strong teams,and draws the following conclusions:1.Chinese players are relatively young,attack in a single way and are poor in controlling over the competition.Chinese players have an advantage in height,but lack of offensive skills and poor in the ending ability.High shooting rate is lower than the four strong teams,especially the much larger gap in free throw rating.There is a significant gap between the U.S.and Belgium in terms of assists.2.In the group stage,the Chinese team and the US team have a significant difference in the number of fast breaking launches and successes.And such significant difference exists in the fast break success rate with the top four teams and much more with the Australian team.In the post-group stage,there is a significant difference between Chinses team and Australian team.3.In the fast attack start form,there is a significant difference in competing for the backcourt rebounds and between the U.S.and Spain teams in the use of snatching to launch a fast attack,and a significant difference between the Chinese team and the Spanish team in the way of using individual breakthrough in the fast attack promotion stage,and a significant difference with the teams in the use of long passes to advance the fast attack and even more with the Belgian team.At the end of the fast attack,there is a significant difference between the Chinese team and the U.S.and Belgium in the number of three-point shots.4.In the group stage,there is a significant difference between the Chinese team and the United States team in the success rate of the attack in the bridge section,and a much more with the Belgian team.In the attack start-up stage of the bridge segment,there is a significant difference with the U.S.team in the number of individual singles.In the closing stage of the bridge attack,there is a significant difference between the Chinese team and the U.S.team in the two scoring ways of mid-range shooting and three-point shot.5.In the position attack,Chinese team and the top four teams mainly use 2-3 position,3-2 position and mobile position formation,in addition,the Chinese team also frequently use 1-2-2 drop formation.In the basic cooperation application,there are significant differences between the Chinese team and the Australian team in the cover match,and much more with the United States team.At the end of the position attack,there is a significant difference between the Chinese team and the Spanish team in the number of mid-range shots.6.The tactics of the United States and Australia are simple and effective,and their internal and external offensive capabilities are more balanced.The tactical arrangements of the Spanish team,the Belgian team and the Chinese team are more complex,but more selective,and the three teams are more against the outside line.
