The initial,also known as the initial consonant,form a complete syllable with the final.The process of initial sound is the process of airflow obstruction and overcoming obstacles.Initials affect the articulation of speech and can make syllables distinct and distinct in speech flow.Correct initial pronunciation is a prerequisite for communication and communication among students with intellectual disabilities and a necessary condition for their social development.Therefore,it is very necessary to further describe the initial mispronunciation characteristics of students with intellectual disability in combination various with research methods.The study choose 33 intellectual disability students in a mental retardation school as object.The initial pronunciation of the subjects was measured by initial pronunciation test,syllable pronunciation test and sentence pronunciation test,and the whole process of the test was recorded.Three new classes of life Chinese in each class from grade 1 to grade 7 were selected for the classroom record.In this study,33 intellectual disability students were collected by recording their phonological data in the three tests of initials,syllables and sentences.The results of the three tests were assessed by three evaluators.Then the statistical method is used to analyze and process the obtained evaluation data.The results showed that the initial pronunciation accuracy of the students with general intellectual disability was significantly higher than that of the students withdown's syndrome in the three tests,and the two groups of students had significant differences in the initial pronunciation accuracy and the syllable pronunciation accuracy and the sentence pronunciation accuracy.From the perspective of pronunciation,students with general intellectual disability have relatively good command of stop and nasal sounds,and relatively poor command of border sounds.Students with down syndrome have a relatively good command of nasal and stop sounds,but a relatively poor command of fricative,edge and affricatesounds.Among them,mispronunciations are mainly manifested as confusion between edge l and nasal n,affricate replacing affricate,and stop b replacing nasal m.Among them,confusion between edge l and nasal n is the most typical.From the point of view of the articulation area,students with general intellectual disability have a relatively good command of labial sounds and a relatively poor command of tongue sharp sounds.Students with down's syndrome had a good command of labial and apical medians,but a relatively poor command of apical anterior and apical posterior.The mispronunciations were mainly manifested as confusion between apical anterior and other apical,apical medians replacing apical posterior,lingual and root,and root h and labial f.At the same time,the students of the two groups also showed the bias of the initials being omitted in the syllabic repeat test and the sentence test.This study also discussed and analyzed the causes of two kinds of students' initial mispronunciations,and found that the individual pronunciation ability and life language teaching of the two kinds of students have an impact on their initial pronunciation.The delayed development of individual vocal organs and the slow development of cognitive activities are the main reasons for the initial mispronunciations of students with two types of mental retardation due to the influence of individual pronunciation ability.The low proportion of initials teaching in Chinese life class and the failure of teachers to correct the students' mispronunciations in time also have certain influence on the correct pronunciation of initials of students with two kinds of intellectual disability.In addition,according to the research results,this study also puts forward some specific and feasible teaching Suggestions,such as increasing initial pronunciation teaching,choosing teaching methods according to the characteristics of two kinds of students' mispronunciations,intuitive demonstration of pronunciation methods,comparative teaching of confusing initials,and increasing skills training.
