Categorization is not only the most basic cognitive process, but also the core competence of supermarket tallyman. As the largest retail business in China, supermarkets have a great demand for the number of tallymen who are engaged in the relatively simple classification of goods(tallying). If people with intellectual disability have a certain ability to classify concepts, they are likely to be qualified for the position of supermarket tallyman after vocational training. At present, the classification ability of class concept of students with intellectual disability is scattered at home and abroad, and there is a lack of systematic research. What is the performance of the class concept classification ability of people with intellectual disability, which class concept hierarchy is better, and which concept types are they good at classifying? Therefore, the research on the category concept classification ability of the intellectual disability can not only supplement the theory of the mentally disabled's occupational cognition, but also specifically explore what kind of commodity category the intellectual disability are engaged in in the supermarket to better play their cognitive advantages and achieve the matching of people's job as far as possible. The priming paradigm was used to explore the conceptual classification ab ility of people with intellectual disability through three series of experiments. In experiment 1,the mixed experiment design of 2(subject group:students with intellectual disability and ordinary students)×2(concept type:concept of artifi cial and concept of natural objects)was adopted to investigate the classification performance differences between students with intellectual disability and ordina ry students in different concept types. The results showed that students with inte llectual disabilities with IQ of 45 to 69 had no difference in accuracy from th e ordinary student, but needed longer response times.According to the subjects selected from experiment 1,experiment 2 adopts a mixed experimental design of 2(subject group:high VIQ group, low VIQ group)×2(stimulus concept le vel:basic concept, superior concept)to explore the class concept advantage lev el of students with intellectual disability. The results show that verbal IQ is an important factor affecting the classification ability of class concept of students with intellectual disability, and the processing level of class concept advantage is the basic class concept.Experiment three used two subjects,2 determine the advantage and processing level, according to the experiment using 2(subjects group:high PIQ,low PIQ grouping)×3(basic concepts of class type:eat,we ar,use)×2(with and without the category members)mixed experimental desi gn of three factors,to explore the intellectual disability students of different PI Q is more good at classifying which category. The results showed that PIQ was also a major factor affecting the ability to categorize the group's category con cepts, and that all students with intellectual disabilities rated the category of "f ood" better.Through the comprehensive analysis of the results of the three experiments,it is found that the class concept categorization ability of students with intelle ctual disability depends on VIQ and PIQ,and they have more processing adva ntages at the level of basic class concept. And in this superiority concept level, the category of "eat" classification effect is the best. Therefore, the study sugg ests that if the supermarket recruits students with intellectual disability as the s upermarket tally clerk,it is the best choice to arrange them in the fresh area.
