Problem solving is the core of mathematics,problem solving teaching plays an important role in mathematics education,and has attracted the attention of academic circles at home and abroad.Polya's problem solving thought provides a useful theoretical basis for it.Solid geometry is an important part of high school mathematics,which is helpful to cultivate students' spatial imagination ability.However,the investigation found that students often have some difficulties in solid geometry problem solving.Therefore,it is of great significance to solid geometry teaching and cultivate students' ability to combine the Polya's-problem solving thought with solid geometry teaching in senior high school.This paper uses investigation research method,experiment method,statistical analysis method and so on.Based on the theory of Polya's problem-solving thought,combining the results of Polya's problem-solving thought with solid geometry teaching at home and abroad.Investigation and analysis the current situation of high school students learning solid geometry.Aiming at the current problems in solid geometry teaching,designing two typical teaching cases of solid-geometry under Polya's problem-solving model.Through a questionnaire survey and the present situation of senior high school students' solid geometry learning,it is found that:(1)The students' initiative in pre-class preparation and after-class review is not enough;(2)Students are not careful enough to examine the questions and lack the ability to express and translate mathematical language;(3)Most students do not have the habit of reflection after solving the solid geometry problems;(4)The teachers' teaching methods are relatively simple and ignore the students' subjectivity.Based on an in-depth analysis of the relationship between Polya's problem-solving thought and the knowledge of solid geometry.Designing two cases of solid geometry teaching under the Polya's problem-solving model.Through teaching experiment and interview statistical analysis,it is found that:(1)The teaching model focuses on the understanding of the basic concepts and theorems,emphasizes the students' main position,and generally improves the students' test scores;(2)Using Polya's problem-solving model can make the problem-solving ideas clear and help students to master the problem solving ideas and rules;(3)The Polya's problem-solving model pays attention to the cultivation of mathematical thinking methods and helps to cultivate the students' mathematics core literacy;(4)Theteaching model emphasizes post-question reflection,forming a four-step closed loop in the problem solving,to enable students master the knowledge effectively.In view of the results of statistical analysis and the problems of traditional teaching model,the paper puts forward the following suggestions:(1)Pay attention to heuristic teaching,strengthen the teaching of basic concepts and theorems of solid geometry;(2)Strengthen the norms of problem-solving training and the transformation of mathematical language;(3)Pay attention to the penetration of mathematical thinking methods;(4)Pay attention to the cultivation of students' closed-loop thinking during teaching. |
