According to statistics, about 80% of children with cerebral palsy have different levels of speech and language problems, which greatly affect their communication with others.Communication is an indispensable demand in people's lives, and it is an important channel for social etiquette, expression of needs and emotions, and transmission of information(expressing needs and emotions, and transmitting information). For the children with low verbal cerebral palsy who have severe communication barriers, the lack of communication or poor communication will further affect their social development and classroom learning.Augmentative and Alternative Communication(AAC),as a communication aid,has been proved to be effective by domestic and foreign research. It can not only help children with lowspoken cerebral palsy to communicate, but also can serve as a language learning tool to improve their communication ability. In this study,a third-grade child with cerebral palsy in a special school with low spoken language is taken as the research object. The real communication needs of the case are analyzed from the school daily life of the child with cerebral palsy. The individualized AAC teaching intervention scheme is designed for the case The communication skills acquired in the AAC teaching intervention are supported to be transferred to the school daily life, and the communication ability is emphasized in the real daily communication Development in the scenario(and it focus on the development of communication competencies of daily communication scenario). The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of AAC teaching intervention on the improvement of communication ability in the school daily life of a case.A third grade child with low oral cerebral palsy was selected as the subject.A single subject experiment was used to design a cross-behavior multi-detection experiment. The independent variable was AAC teaching, and the dependent variable was functional vocabulary learning effect, sentence learning effect and categorization effect. After the experimental processing of baseline(a),intervention(b)and maintenance(c),visual analysis,C statistics and other methods were used to analyze the research data(the research data was analyzed by visual analysis,C statistics and other methods),and the social validity of this study was tested through interviews with parents and teachers. The results are as follows:(1)AAC teaching has immediate effect, maintenance effect, categorization effect and social validity on the acquisition of functional vocabularies and sentences.(2)In the daily life situation of the school, the case's communication ability has been improved, which is manifested by the obvious increase of the case's communication times, the improvement of oral clarity and the increased length of oral sentences;the ability of using AAC equipment to construct sentences has been improved, and the communication can be expressed in various forms such as communication layout with communication pen, oral language and action;the communication validity has been significantly improved compared with that before the intervention of the study.According to the implementation and effects of AAC teaching in the case study, the researchers concluded that the design of AAC teaching scheme for children with low spoken cerebral palsy should be based on the comprehensive evaluation of the case and the consideration of their daily life situations;it should not only meet the current needs but also consider the future development.AAC teaching methods should be developed and changed flexibly according to the ability level of individual cases;the organization of teaching activities should be able to stimulate the interest of individual cases. The effect of AAC teaching should also consider maintaining a certain degree of attention in teaching cases, paying attention to the appropriateness of AAC teaching methods and the cooperation of parents. The researchers suggest that the number of subjects should be increased, the teaching time should be extended appropriately and the teaching effect of AAC should be extended to different communication situations in future research.
