The theme-based regional activity is an important way to combine the theme activity with the regional activity in the kindergarten.The research shows that the theme-based regional activities are helpful for children to gain the experience related to the theme actively in the Regional Games and to promote children's all-round and harmonious development.How are the thematic regional activities carried out in front-line educational activities? How to select the appropriate thematic activities according to the "learning and development guide for children aged 3 ~ 6",and integrate the thematic activities with regional activities?To explore the above issues,this study selected a small class of L kindergarten as the research object,using the method of Action Research,to conduct a four-month study.Through the problem diagnosis of the thematic regional activities of l kindergarten,the author selects the thematic regional activities of marine animals,designs the programme of activities,implements the actions,reflects and adjusts,in order to explore the effective way of the thematic regional activities.This study is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction of the study,which mainly analyzes the necessity of carrying out the thematic regional activities and the existing problems in the current practice.The second part is the research design,mainly introduces the achievements of L kindergarten,the teaching curriculum vitae of collaborators,the age and gender of children in this research class,and how to carry out specific action research.The third part is the preparation of the study,mainly looking for and analyzing the problems existing in the development of L kindergarten's thematic regional activities,and accordingly determining the content of the research theme,making the overall objectives of the activity program,and determining the links of the activities.The fourth part is the implementation stage of action research.According to the selection of marine animals,three rounds of action research are mainly carried out.The first round is based on children's interests and individual knowledge of marine animals;the second round is to strengthen home-based cooperation to meet children's needs for activity expansion;and the third round is mainly about children's active experience in acquiring and expressing marine animal-themed regional activities.The fifth part is the discussion and reflection of the research,including the effectiveness,conclusions and shortcomings of the research.The results of this study are as follows: First,children gain thematic experience,improve their skills,form a sense of active exploration andlearning,and achieve a holistic development.Secondly,the teachers realized the important value of this research for the growth of children,gained the experience of action research,and improved their professional quality.Third,the class work,the formation of a strong research atmosphere,strengthen the home cooperation.Fourth,the researchers have accumulated practical experience and deepened their understanding of the thematic regional activities.The conclusions of this study are as follows: First,the form of the thematic regional activity is the close combination of the region and the theme,the main ways are: regional preposition,collective understanding,collective regional activities,free regional activities,sharing and exchange regional activities.Second,the development of the topic-based regional activities requires the formulation of a scientific and appropriate programme of activities,and the selection of the contents of activities should be based on children's interest in activities and close to children's lives,the design of the goal takes into account the development of children,the design of teaching goals and links,and the reflection of the activity is based on the problems in children's activities.Third,the essence of thematic regional activities is to promote the integrated development of children,so that children in the context of the integration of the theme,through regional activities,to achieve multi-faceted integrated development.Deficiencies: In the research process,more attention to marine animal thematic regional activities,the remaining content of regional activities have been ignored;because the study is small classes of children,the early level of children's release is not enough.
