Critical thinking skills is one of the essential core qualities of high-quality talents in today's society.The Outline of Adolescent's Legal Education and morality and the Rule of Law Curriculum Standards both put forward the requirements for cultivating students' critical thinking skills.'It was not only meets the requirements of society,but also the needs of pupils' morality development.The purpose of this study is to cultivate students' critical thinking skills by classifying and designing digital stories and applying them to the practical teaching of morality and Rule of Law courses.In order to achieve the research purpose,first of all,the overseas and domestic research status on digital story and critical thinking skills is analyzed,and the conceptual definition of critical thinking skills and digital story is summarized.Secondly,the preliminary analysis of digital story design is carried out from three aspects: learners,morality and rule of law curriculum standards and content,and teaching goals.Thirdly,based on the previous analysis,guided by the theory of constructivist learning,the theory of morality development stages,and the theory of teaching events in Gagne,digital stories are divided into three types: life,history,and characters;Then the process is designed and presented as a case.Finally,a teaching experiment was conducted in the fifth grade.Questionnaires were used to investigate students' love of digital stories and the effects of digital stories.The critical thinking skills questionnaire and test questions are analyzed to determine the degree of students' critical thinking skills.The results show that digital stories can attract students' attention more effectively than traditional classroom teaching,so that students can participate in the classroom..In conclusion,the use of digital stories to teach morality and rule of law courses makes the content easier to understand and arouses students' critical thinking,thereby improving students' thinking ability to a certain extent.
