Chemistry equilibrium theory contains concentrated concepts and principles,and the content is abstract,which is a major and difficult point in high school chemistry teaching.During the actual teaching process,many students are not able to use what they have learned to solve problems in new situations,because they do not have a deep understanding of the connotation of concepts or principles and they are not good at receiving and integrating information.Based on a detailed analysis of the curriculum standards,textbook design,college entrance examination points,and teaching goals related to the high school chemistry equilibrium theory of the human education version,that designs “student Cognitive Impairment Diagnostic Test Paper about chemical balance in the human education version” by combing the literature and using existing diagnostic test tools.Diagnostic tests are used to help teachers to figure out students' cognitive impairments in this module and the analysis of the test results provides a reliable basis for subsequent effective teaching strategies.The TfU teaching mode is based on promoting students' understanding and provides teachers with basic teaching ideas and frameworks;the mode contains four key components: Generative Topics,Understanding Goals,Performance of Understanding and Ongoing Assessment.Based on the students' cognitive barriers,which put forward some suitable teaching strategies for equilibrium theory,such as model strategies,procedural strategies,and reflection strategies and designs teaching cases of equilibrium theory according to the framework of TfU teaching mode.In order to test the effectiveness of the TfU teaching mode and the multi-teaching strategies,the experimental and control classes were selected in Second grade of a high school for teaching.Before and after the teaching practice,the results of the teaching practice were reflected and summarized through interviews and surveys on the learning styles,learning habits,learning interests,and learning ability of the students in two classes,as well as a comparative analysis of the academic performance.The research results show that the application of TfU teaching mode and the teaching strategy constructed by it to the equilibrium theory has achieved good teaching results.This model not only promotes students' understanding of the theory of chemical equilibrium,but also cultivates students' logical thinking ability.Students' ability to effectively extract and integrate information,and apply their knowledge to new situations has been greatly improved.To a certain extent,the TfU teaching mode have overcome the crucial and difficult part in equilibrium theory teaching,which also provides a certain reference for the teaching of other modules.
