"Chemical reaction rate and chemical balance" is an important theoretical knowledge of high school chemistry course,which not only contains conceptual understanding content,but also tests abstract knowledge in combination with life situations,which increases the difficulty for students to understand applied knowledge.Most students have difficulties in applying abstract knowledge to practice.Under the new curriculum reform,the new college entrance examination mode is implemented.It is required to implement students’ core quality of chemistry,and teachers must develop new classroom models.How to promote students’ in-depth understanding and apply knowledge transfer has become the focus of educators,unit teaching has become a major breakthrough point,and the core of UbD theory is to advocate understanding first,evaluation before teaching and guide teaching.Promote students to understand knowledge deeply and form long-term memory.Therefore,this study combines UbD theory with unit teaching,aiming at building a classroom that meets the requirements of new curriculum reform and ADAPTS to students’ development,promoting students’ real understanding of knowledge and transfer and application,and cultivating students’ comprehensive literacy.In this study,the literature survey method was used to consult relevant materials and literatures to understand the domestic and foreign UbD theory,unit instructional design and domestic research status of "chemical reaction rate and chemical balance",define the core concepts,and determine the basic theoretical basis for combining the two.The questionnaire survey method was adopted to understand the students’ learning level of chemistry and the current situation of teaching design of first-line chemistry teachers in high school.The results showed that in the actual teaching,teachers lack experience or theoretical basis,students have heavy workload,and unit teaching implementation is not high.However,both teachers and students recognized the new teaching mode.By summarizing the teaching principles of the application of UbD theory in unit teaching design,this paper analyzes whether the application of UbD theory in unit teaching can effectively implement the core quality of chemistry,designs the basic process of combining unit teaching under the UbD theory,and chooses the content of "chemical reaction rate and chemical balance" as an example to analyze the teaching case of unit knowledge framework design.Finally,the teaching cases are studied in practice,students’ enthusiasm and teaching effects are understood through the analysis of classroom performance observation tables and post-test results of experimental class and control class,and teachers’ opinions and suggestions are obtained through interviews,so as to provide teaching suggestions for improving chemistry class and implementing UbD theory combined unit teaching.The research results show that the UbD theory integrated unit teaching teaching mode can effectively promote students to pay attention to understanding and learning,improve students’ comprehensive problem-solving ability and comprehensive quality,effectively improve students’ behavior habits,promote students to form a knowledge system and be able to transfer and apply,and help students to implement the core quality of chemistry. |
