Society is an organic whole formed by connecting people on the basis of common material production activities and in accordance with certain codes of conduct.Various social relations are derived from production relations.It is the social environment in which human beings live together.In order to ensure the normal development of social order,people must carry out activities under certain rules and regulations and codes of conduct.Research shows that social support can promote individuals to establish more positive coping styles when facing difficulties,that is,to receive more social support when facing difficulties and pressures,the more positive coping styles individuals adopt.At present,the domestic research on social support for the disabled is rather weak,and the research on social support for the visually disabled is even less,especially the case study and qualitative research on the visually disabled are very scarce.This paper takes the case of visually impaired teachers as the research object,adopts qualitative research methods,and takes the influence of social support on the individual development of visually impaired teachers as the breakthrough point.With the help of visually impaired teachers,their personal growth experiences are fully explored.Data are collected through on-the-spot interviews,news reports and other channels,and qualitative analysis is conducted on qualitative data using analysis software NVivo12.The collected data are text coded,analyzed,summarized and modeled by grounded theory three-level coding method,and finally four main categories of support environment,support source,support content and support nature are formed,and an analysis framework for the individual development of visually impaired teachers from the perspective of the social support is established.First,in terms of supporting environment: the family environment is the basic guarantee for visually impaired teachers to grow up healthily;The school environment is an important guarantee for visually impaired teachers to achieve success.A community environment is the necessary guarantee for visually impaired teachers to establish communication.Government support is the external guarantee for visually impaired teachers to join the society.Second,in terms of support content: information support is the basis for the individual development of visually impaired teachers;Evaluation support is the motive force for the individual development of visually impaired teachers.Emotional support is the core of the individual development of visually impaired teachers.Tool support is the support for the individual development of visually impaired teachers.Accompanying support is fertile soil for the individual development of visually impaired teachers.Third,in terms of sources of support: parents' and spouse's support is the pushing force for visually impaired teachers to overcome difficulties;School leaders and teachers' support are the pillars for visually impaired teachers to break through obstacles.Friends' support is the motive force for visually impaired teachers to integrate into society.Fourth,subjective perception is an important indicator to evaluate the quality of social support for visually impaired teachers.Objective acceptance is an important embodiment of social support content for visually impaired teachers.Finally,some suggestions are put forward,such as enhancing self-development ability,establishing a mutual aid system for families of visually impaired groups,paying attention to diversified education methods,and increasing the attention and recognition of visually impaired groups in society.The research shows that the individual development of visually impaired teachers is the result of the comprehensive effect of various factors under the core category of social support.Families,schools,communities and visually impaired teachers form a social network and provide basic life support and strong psychological support for visually impaired teachers,enabling visually impaired teachers to face the hardships in the growth process with optimistic and healthy mentality,improve their social adaptability and grow into excellent special education teachers with self-esteem,self-confidence,self-reliance and self-improvement.Based on the research results of social support for the individual development of visually impaired teachers,the following suggestions are put forward: first,improve the social support environment to ensure the individual development of visually impaired groups;Second,dig out the content of social support and pay attention to the internal needs of visually impaired groups;Third,expand sources of social support and build a value system for visually impaired groups;Fourth,attach importance to the nature of social support and enhance the self-perception of visually impaired groups.
