The Lanzhou International Marathon has attracted much attention since its establishment in 2011.In the 8-year history,it has successfully created its own marathon brand.Its track is designed around the Yellow River;its audience is the most enthusiastic;it is also rated as the most difficult "PB" gold standard event by the outside world.In 2019,the first time the IAAF Road Running Conference was settled in China,Lanzhou was chosen,which also made the Lanzhou International Marathon in the same period of time attract international attention.There are many studies on urban marathons,but few articles analyze the text of a specific urban marathon event.This article takes the news text of the 2019 Lanzhou International Marathon as the research object,and explores it in terms of language,image,structure,and significance.At the same time,in terms of text meaning research,from the perspective of encoding and decoding,the deep meaning that the text tries to convey and the factors that affect the interpretation effect of the audience are expounded.Through research,it is found that the news text language of the 2019 Lanzhou International Marathon mainly presents the characteristics of accuracy,literature and entertainment;The structure mainly adopts a combination of inverted pyramid style,prose style,and side-by-side style;the image creation is mainly based on the city image.During the interpretation of meaning,it was found that the text was mainly coded from the two meaning levels of "reshaping the image of the city,promoting the Marathon brand,digging out character stories,and promoting the culture of the spirit.
