With the accelerating pace of globalization,the urban ecological environment,history and culture,the cultural quality and physical strength and so on various aspects are included in the competition among cities,large sports events,as one of the forms of city events,became the important symbol of urban modernization,the marathon as a far-reaching large-scale sports event,nature has become the important carrier of the city’s image.Marathons can not only stimulate economic growth,improve the competitiveness of a city,but also enhance the image of a city by holding marathon events within the city.Firstly,This paper holds that by holding sports events,on the one hand,the image of the host city can be improved,which can not only improve the cognition and view of existing tourists,but also increase the willingness of tourists to visit again.On the other hand,the holding of sports events can also reveal some problems that cities have at present.These problems are not only the problems of sports events,but also the problems of culture and tourism.The implementation situation reflected in the research results can also serve as an important reference for the development and improvement of cities in the future.Next,A representative and in this paper selected the newborn of xi ’an international marathon as an object,first made a defining the marathon event,city image,and then based on the theory of city image recognition system,quantitative combination of marathon on city effect mechanism,USES the literature material method,mathematical statistics method,questionnaire survey method,and the third by 2019 xi ’an international marathon to empirical study of the influence of xi ’an city image.The following conclusions: 1.The marathon’s influence on the city’s image respectively from the concept of city image and city behavior image and visual image of city three aspects to action.2.The image of the city concept includes the spirit of the city,the social atmosphere and the spirit of sports culture of the citizens;The city behavior image includes the government behavior,the enterprise administration,the citizen behavior;Urban visual image includes urban environment,urban buildings and urban public facilities.3.The sample population has the highest degree of recognition of improving city spirit in the image of xi ’an international marathon.4.The sample population has the lowest degree of recognition of improving public transport facilities.5.Improve the ancient capital of xi ’an awareness,change the ancient city of impression,improve the population age structure,improve the tourism economic income,optimizing environment,increase the tourists impression option passed the statistical test of the building,most variable has a positive influence to the promotion of the overall image of the city,in general,the marathon is effective to improve the city image.For the results of the study are as follows: 1.Strengthen the contact with citizens,to promote the concept of citizen consciousness sublimation 2.Mining cityculture,strengthen competition idea and city culture fit 3.Government and business synergies,comprehensively improve the image of the city behavior 4.With the help of sports to improve urban infrastructure,improve the urban game brand visual image 5.consolidation,widen the way of event propagation and propaganda. |
