Physics experimental teaching is an important part of physics teaching.At present,with the goal of cultivating the creativity of students,China is actively exploring the way to deepen the reform of physics experiment teaching in middle schools.Teachers should not only teach students' knowledge,but also cultivate students' curiosity and interest in physics.In the course of the experimental class,it is necessary to allow students to deeply understand the principles of experiments,and to mobilize students' enthusiasm for participating in physics experiment classroom teaching.At the same time,this also requires teachers to improve the class teaching ability,which includes detailed theoretical analysis of experiments,mastering the hidden logical relationships in the experiments,and mining the suitable content for student' inquiry,and designing experimental inquiry courses suitable for student learning.In this paper,the literature research method,observation method,and quantitative analysis were used to study the experiments of the "Vanishing Coin Experiment" and "Upside down Glass of Water Experiment"."The Vanishing Coin Experiment" is a comprehensive application of knowledge of refraction and reflection of light.In this article,the final refraction angle,the observation height of the observer,and range of the angle that coin can be see were calculated.This paper quantitatively analyzed three issues: how the coin gradually disappearing,how the coin reappearing and the three images of the coin."Upside down Glass of Water Experiment" is an experiment to verify the existence of atmospheric pressure.The balance of the cover is subjected to the effect of additional pressure generated by the surface tension of the water.This paper proposes the criteria for judging the success or failure of the experiment.The influences of the quality of the cover sheet,the depth of the water,the radius of the cup and height of the cup on the experiment were analyzed.Next,taking these two classic experiments as examples,the experimental teaching design was proposed.In the "Vanishing Coin Experiment" teaching design,present experimental teaching content with questions as the main line,from declarative to inquiry learning.In the " Upside down Glass of Water Experiment" classroom,starting from the link of scientific inquiry.These links are suitable for middle school students to explore and research experiments.It was provided students with comprehensive guidance in three aspects that are the experimental knowledge,experimental skills and experimental thinking,to making students understand the scientific inquiry process.In short,if teachers want to cultivate students' experimental ability in the classroom,they need to dig deeper into the experiment and have a relatively complete and profound understanding of the experimental.Through this method the teacher can design the contents suitable for students' physical and mental development.
