In recent years,the Xinjiang has attached great importance to the popularization of the spoken and written languages of the country,emphasizing that everyone knows the common language of the country,everyone speaks the common language of the country,and the implementation of the teaching of the common language of the country.As Xinjiang is a region inhabited by ethnic minorities,the extent,this has affected the development and progress of Uyghur university students in their studies.This study,Through combing the emergence and development of bilingual education theory,this study analyzes and studies some previous theories of bilingual education,based on the classical theoretical model,this paper analyzes the positive role of the first language and the second language in the study and life of ethnic minority college students,when the students' second language level does not reach the level of language proficiency,the adoption of the second language teaching model may lead to the phenomenon of temporary delay in students' studies,and may also lead to the situation of being unable to communicate with teachers and students in the classroom,second language proficiency plays an important role in the study of ethnic minority college students because of their inability to understand word meaning and vocabulary.Based on the questionnaire of National Common Language use,national common language attitude,college students' learning experience and study experience,etc.,on the basis of the previous work and with my own opinions,I have compiled the national common language level of Uyghur University students and its impact on learning experience scale,the subjects of the study were Xinjiang Uyghur students from Project 985,Project 211 and ordinary universities in the Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Shanghai regions,to investigate the language use,the perception of hearing,speaking,reading and writing difficulties,the change of the national common language level after entering the university,whether the national common language level is related to gender,subject category,family background,students origin,and the relationship between the national common language level and learning experience.Based on the questionnaire survey and interviews,the author finds that there are some problems in the level of national common language and learning experience of Uyghur college students.(1)Uyghur University students tend to use the national common language,the first choice of national common language communication,only when communicating with the older generation will choose the Uyghur language.(2)in the aspect of listening,speaking,reading and writing,most Uyghur college students have good listening comprehension,but their writing and speaking abilities are relatively weak,their putonghua accents are not standard,and their writing difficulties are serious.(3)there is a positive correlation between the National Common Language level of Uyghur University students and the various dimensions of their learning experience.The better the listening comprehension ability,the better the written expression ability,and the higher the oral expression ability,the more easily to integrate into the group environment,willing to participate in class discussions,willing to interact with teachers and have good cross-cultural communication skills.(4).There are significant differences in the national common language level of Uyghur University students in different places and grades,but there are no significant differences in gender,subject category,family background and the nature of universities.(5)Uyghur University students' academic performance is not very good,the class rank is at the bottom position.(6)a better level of national common language plays a positive role in the personal development of Uygur University students.The level of national common language is higher and it has a better development in the period of university study.At last,this paper puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures to the problems in the study above.From the national,school,family,college teachers as well as the individual level,the corresponding recommendations are given.First of all,the state has made great efforts to strengthen the popularization and promotion of national common languages and scripts in ethnic minority areas,to provide high-quality teaching resources for national common languages in ethnic minority areas,and to recruit outstanding teachers from the mainland to teach in Xinjiang,to assist in the popularization of National common language Teaching and to provide guidance and assistance to students in ethnic minority areas in learning the National Common language.Secondly,colleges and universities regularly set up mandarin training classes for ethnic minority students to provide a good Chinese learning environment for ethnic minority students.As the highest institution of Higher Education,colleges and universities,starting from the students themselves,draw up detailed plans for promoting Chinese language learning in accordance with the strengths and weaknesses of Uyghur college students,it is convenient for minority students to study Chinese and their academic development through the social activities or one-to-one pair activities between minority students and Han students.Third,as parents,we should pay attention to the minority students' academic performance regularly,and play a supervisory role,pointing out the direction for them,playing the role of their first teacher,and providing some support for their children's academic performance.Finally,as a flexible use of class time by university teachers,they often provide opportunities for ethnic minority students to answer questions and report on their work,exercise their expressive skills in class,encourage them to speak Chinese,and join in every class discussion,this will not only improve their mandarin level can also improve their academic performance.As college students,they should also be strict with themselves,lead by example,devote all their spare time to the study of the national common language,so as not to be afraid of making mistakes,step by step to improve themselves and fill in the gaps.
