Ethnic identity in terms of multi-ethnic country is of great significance.It has greatimpact on the individual members’ national mental health and adaptation of socialbehavior. Uighur is a nation with strong national characteristics.Uighur ethnic collegestudents have a strong impact on the development of their Uighur ethnic and the wholecountry. However,the impact of social change and cultural debugging facing them withthe development of the nation’s rapid development, so many problems of adaptationthey are facing,as well as his strong distinction between Uighur ethnic and otherethnic.Therefore, there are two meanings contained in the Uighur ethnic identity amongcollege students, ethnic identity and his national identity. Most of the previous studieswere explicit study.These studies’ results may influenced by the experimental needs orsocial expectations and other factors.So this study will investigate the implicit ethnicidentity of uighur ethnic college students.In this article,To explore the Uyghur nationality undergruduates on their implicitcultural identity of the ethnic and mainstream culture,42Uyghur NationalityUndergraduates were examined using the extrinsic affective simon task.The resultsindicated that:1)EAST reaction time scores on the Uyghur culture were significantlygreater than for the mainstream culture.2)No significant differences is found betweenthe mainstream culture and the Uyghur culture on error rate scores.3) There was asignificant sex difference on the error rate score of Uyghur culture’s positivereaction;There was a significant grade difference on the error rate score of mainstreamculture’s positive reaction. Apart from this,there was no significant sex difference orgrade difference in other variables.4) There was a significant difference in EASTreaction time scores on the mainsteram culture by the number of Han friends of theUyghur nationality undergraduates.Conclusion is drawn below:1) Uyghur nationality undergraduates have a morepositive attitude toward the Uyghur culture.2) There wasn’t a significant sex differenceor grade difference in uyghur nationality undergraduates’ implicit culturalidentity.3)There was a significant difference in uyghur nationality undergraduates’implicit mainstream cultural identity by the number of Han friends of the Uyghur nationality undergraduates.The more Han friends,the more positive identity ofmainstream culture.
