Research On The Rules Of Utilization Of Comprehensive Archives

Archives utilization is the basic purpose of archival work and the key point of archival business links.The quality of archives utilization influences the archives users'impression of archival work.Under the network environment,the utilization modes of archives are more and more various,but consulting the files is the major way all the time.It links archives users with archival work,and links requirement of archives users with archives information resources at the same time.For comprehensive archives,the target audience of archives utilization service is the public.Researching how the public consulting the files is necessary to know archives utilization requirement and rules.At present,the research of archives utilization rules in our country is limited to theoretical perspective,the methods are limited to induction deduction method or logical reasoning,using archives statistics to carry out empirical research is rare.On the basis of absorbing the existing research results,this paper uses statistical method to research archives utilization rules of Nanjing Archives in terms of 2005-2016 registration for consulting the files from Nanjing Archives,and comparing with the general rules of archival utilization.The main contents of this paper include the following 7 chapters:Chapter 1:Introduction.This part introduces the background and significance of this research,presents the current research situation both at home and abroad.Then the paper discusses the research content,ideas,methods and innovations.Chapter 2:Concept definition and theoretical basis.This part elucidates the definition of archives utilization,consulting the files,archives utilization rules and so on.Then it clarifies the rules of archival work and archives utilization theory as the theoretical basis of the article.Chapter 3:Data source and composition.This part introduces the Nanjing Archives,and the data formation,collection and preparation process is briefly described,then this part describes the structure and contents of registration for consulting the files.Chapter 4:Data preparation and analysis.This part analyzes the data from basic situation,subject characteristic,object characteristic,behavior characteristic according to the research objectives.The results of data analysis are described by chart,text and so on,then this part discusses the nature of the phenomenon to provide data and theoretical support for summarizing the archives utilization rules.Chapter 5:In this part the results of data preparation and analysis are sublimated,then it summarizes the archives utilization overall rules,archives utilization requirements rules and archives utilization service rules of Nanjing Archives.Chapter 6:This part compares the rules of utilization of Nanjing Archives with the general rules of archival utilization and then puts forward the general measures and suggestions to improve the utilization of archives.Chapter 7:Conclusion.This part summarizes the main points and shortcomings of the paper and points out the direction of further research.
