Investigation Report:Investigation Of Burmese Newspaper "Paukphaw"'s State

In this paper,we take Burmese newspaper "paukphaw",which is published by Dehong solidarity newspaper office in Dai-Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture of Dehong Yunnan province as an object of investigation.In the specific operational background,we propose the thoughts and suggestions for the future development of Burmese newspaper,combined with the existing predicament.The paper adopts interview method and participant observation,we first collect the first-hand information with the interview of newsroom of Dehong solidarity newspaper,and then summarize the interview materials of the founders,readers and related units.Firstly,we carry out the investigate the background of "paukphaw" the Burmese newspaper based on the general situation and the overall media development in Dehong,combined with the "paukphaw" present situation and audience survey we find out the dilemma of the process with the interview material.According to the analysis above,we think deeply on the future development of the "paukphaw",to let the "paukphaw" be matched with the local culture,social environment and international communication environment.Through investigation we found that the relations between China and Myanmar,the newspaper's own development needs,the spreads of overseas Burmese newspapers and the works and business that Burmese people doing in Dehong constitute the founding reasons of Burmese newspaper "paukphaw",this makes the "paukphaw" became the first Chinese paper media in Myanmar.With the current newspaper procedure,editing group,news producing and audience groups,we find out the plight of media positioning,spreading content,spreading talent and communication effect.And then we have the proposals for future development of Burmese newspaper "paukphaw" for reference,from the theoretical level and the operational level.
