Design And Implementation Of Elective Course Management System In College

With the development of computer network and the advancement of informatization in college,information management based on computer and network technology has become popular in various industries,which has brought great convenience to people's production,life and work.In recent years,information management system has been highly applied in college student file management system,score management system and personnel system.Educational administration system is the core system of college teaching.Elective courses in college are an important part of personnel training plan in higher education and an important supplement to professional courses.The traditional elective course management is a combination of paper submission and simple office software.cannot meet the demand of the increasingly complicated educational administration.Network course selection system,with its advantages of high efficiency,light workload and less mistakes,is adopted in more and more colleges.Based on SQL database technology and with the C#language and the application structure based on B/S,the system in this research has developed a set of course selection system for elective courses,completed the design and implementation of the course selection process of elective course in college,and achieved the goal of paperless course selection among the educational administrators,teachers and students in the process of course selection.The main work and achievements of this paper are as following:1.To analyze the purpose of the design of elective course management system,the background and the current situation related to the subject.2.To analyze the demand of the course elective management in detail through the investigation of the course selection process of college elective courses.The process can be divided into system information management module,elective course management module and user and rights management module based on the function.3.To build the development environment of college elective course management system,and design and implement the various functional modules above.
