With the development of society and technology of communication,multiple service transport platform(MSTP)based on synchronous digital network(SDH),which supports transmission of SDH,Ethernet,ATM and other services,will play an important role in the future.The core and convergence layer of MSTP has been initially established in recent years and full utilization of the existing fiber network to meet the diversified need of users become the focus in the field of fiber network communication.The main contents of this thesis are as follows: First,the application of MSTP technology at home and abroad was introduced and analyzed.Second,the concept and characteristics of related technologies of MSTP networking technology was introduced and a comparison and analysis of the characteristics of other networking technologies was taken.The third part was some principle for the design of the network structure of the full-service access network.Finally,we accomplished the MSTP network construction in the Xing' Nan Business Park,Daqing City,Heilongjiang Province by using CX600-X8,ZXCTN9008 and CiTRANS R865 as the core layer apparatus,CX600-X3,ZXCTN9004 and CiTRANS R845 as the convergence layer apparatus and ATN950,ZXCTN622 and CiTRANS 640 as the access layer apparus.The MSTP based on SDH addressed in this thesis can realize simultaneously transmission of multiple services such as TDM,ATM,and Ethernet,and provide unified network management.This allows for a very high degree of integration and flexible scalability,enabling a smooth upgrade of traditional SDH networks.
