Research And Realization Of Optimized Network Based On MSTP

With the fast development of people's request in multi-service of data, voice and image, the requirement of the metropolitan area transmission network (MATN) becomes higher and higher. Currently, the technologies of MATN construction are flourishing. MSTP is an important new technology in MATN. It can support multi-services by synthesizing the advantages of other technologies.The conventional ascending convergence of ATM DSLAM uses ATM exchanges to converge to BRAS by ATM net. But the equipments and technology of ATM are complicated and expensive, and the ATM network is hard to satisfy the fast development of wide-band services in capacity and protection. The wide-band transmission network of ATM suffers lots of press.This paper uses the loading and converging function of ATM in MSTP to realize the convergence of ATM DSLAM ascending services instead of ATM in order to construct a satisfying optimized wide-band transmission network of DSL. This paper researches the principle and key technologies of MSTP, and proposes how to use MSTP to realize the ATM convergence function in actual network construction, that is to propose the interfaces calculating model of network, the realizing methods of ATM convergence, and then this paper proposes the network function realizing model. This paper proposes the network model, the layer model, and designs the network topology and selecting-point method, and finishes the actual construction of MSTP network according to the methods above. This paper researches and analyzes current MSTP equipments and finishes the selecting-type process of this project. This paper designs the needed synchronous and protecting methods and configures the network management system. At the end, this paper compares this network with the original network, and points out the advantages of this system and analyzes the problems in the MSTP network construction presently, and points out the shortages of MSTP network in this paper.The MSTP optimized network completed in this paper improves the conventional convergence of ATM DSLAM ascending services. It can not only raise the bandwidth utilization of ascending paths, but also reduce the amount of ATM ports of equipments in the core net, and it can save fiber resources, and expand the network range more easily, and at the same time provides the protection for the ADSL ascending services. This MSTP network can satisfy the development of ADSL network presently.
