This thesis focuses on the high-quality,low-delay demand, and the impact of the boundary condition concussion in the multicast network application scenario. This thesis proposes a set of P2MP multicast tunnel management schemes with the combination of Traffic Engineering(TE)and MPLS technology.Based on the RSVP-TE protocol and the MPLS network architecture,CSPF is used to calculate the bandwidth resources information of the real-time network topology in networks supporting label forwarding and resource reservation.By bypassing the congested nodes and reserving bandwidth resources along the nodes,a point-to-multipoint tunnel management system is invented which is based on RSVP-TE protocol. On the basis of elaborating on the overall framework of the system and the composition of the function module, this thesis mainly describes the processing flow of system work when it comes to different events trigger, including the use of message buffering to achieve the orderly tunnel management;the use of state machine to maintain the state of tunnel management process; To ensure the continuity of tunnel traffic when updating the tunnel attributes,a make-before-break mechanism is adopted to smoothly switch from CR-LSPs when updating the tunnel. The designed and implemented RSVP-TE based P2MP tunnel management system was tested. The availability, reliability, and robustness of the RSVP-TE P2MP basic networking test system were designed and engineered to cover the functional points at which the system was tested. The test result indicates that the system can establish and manage the point-to-multipoint tunnel in the network with RSVP-TE P2MP function. The tunnel can orderly work under the boundary conditions and large-scale concussion environment which meets the demand of system design.
