Acquisition is the basis of establishing a link to space laser communication system. This thesis mainly studies the beaconless acquisition technology, uses small beam angle communication light and discards the beacon light and related optical components.Than traditional beacon acquisition,it's simplifying the structure, reducing the volume, weight and power consumption, commonly used in micro-nano satellites. At first, this thesis introduced the principle of traditional beacon light acquisition, including its composition and acquisition methods, which led to the beaconless acquisition technology. Then it expounds the principle of the beaconless acquisition and working process and its system composition, and analyzes its key technologies, including servo system design, acquisition method, workflow, and scanning method. After the completion of the system construction, the performance indicators of the beaconless acquisition are emphatically studied, involving the acquisition uncertainty area in space, the acquisition time, the acquisition probability and scan overlapping area. For the technical performance index of the beaconless system, the LabVIEW simulation program was designed to simulate the acquisition workflow and scanning method. Finally,a model experiment platform was set up in the laboratory to verify the beaconless acquisition in principle.Testing the experimental system by building a model,a test was conducted on the acquisition time and the acquisition probability. The experimental results show that the average acquisition time is 48.4s and 50 successful acquisitions. This experiment successfully verifies the feasibility of the beaconless acquisition method.
