A Study On The Social Memory Of The Special Memorial Issue Of People's Daily

In recent year,China has increased its emphasis on historical commemorative activities and established a statutory national anniversary and held related theme activities.Since the 21 st century,the People's Daily has grown from a single report commemoration day to reporting on important historical events or historical figures and other commemorative themes,thus enriching the commemorative special issue and commemorating more special categories.The social memory theory holds that memory is not simply to preserve and reproduce information.The formation of memory is based on social construction.The social attributes of memory are achieved through individual practice and commemorative rituals.The mass media is the way to achieve this.One of the important channels.Therefore,this article takes "People's Daily" as the main object of study,takes the historical commemorative special issue as the research theme,and uses social memory as the research theory of this article.The historical facts and historical figures involved in the research topic are all social memory objects.This article adopts three methods of literature research,content analysis and case analysis,and uses social memory theory to analyze and research the historical special issue of People's Daily.The first chapter of this article gives a basic overview of the historical commemorative special issue of People's Daily and the related concepts of social memory theory.The concepts of social memory,collective memory,and cultural memory are discriminated,and the basis for the application of the concepts and theories of social memory is defined.The concept of the historic special issue has summarized the basic situation of the development status of the special commemorative special issue of People's Daily.The second chapter is an overall analysis of the special commemorative special issue of the People's Daily.It analyzes the subject,the genre of the report,the numberof reports and the layout of the pages,and summarizes the characteristics of the report.The third chapter starts with the three basic elements of social memory construction and the ways to realize the construction methods,and analyzes and summarizes the ways and characteristics of the social memory construction of the special commemorative special issue of People's Daily.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the function of the social memory embodied in the historical special issue of People's Daily,and summarizes two aspects of its reporting purpose.The fifth chapter discusses the significance of the social memory presented in the special commemorative special issue of the People's Daily,sums up the success of the special commemorative special issue of the People's Daily,and provides reference for other media commemorative reports.
