| With the rapid development of mobile communication technology,the mobile communication network is upgrading continuously.As the key equipment of mobile communication network,the performance and practical functions of base station antenna should be improved continuously.Now,4G(the fourth generation mobile communication system)has been widely applied,and 5G is also researching and testing.Meanwhile,2G and 3G are still using,so the coexistence of multi-standard systems will continue for a long time in the future.The multi-frequency base station antenna allows multiple antenna arrays to work on multiple bands,which are placed in a single radome,and the multi-frequency base station antenna supports multi-standard networks,so the multi-frequency base station antenna can reduce the total number of antennas in the network and the cost of building station,also can relieve the contradiction of station address.Meanwhile,the new working frequency of mobile communication system springs up continuously,so it is a trend to study and design multi-frequency base station antennas,which can support the new band.Based on the above application background,a multi frequency base station antenna that supports the new band is studied and designed to provide innovative applications for mobile communication network.The multi-frequency base station antenna studied in this paper is a antenna,which supports five bands and holds ten ports.The multi-frequency antenna contains five arrays,including a low band(698MHz-960MHz)antenna array;two high band(1710MHz-2690MHz)antenna arrays(referred to as the first high band antenna array in this paper)and two high band(1450MHz-2400MHz)antenna arrays(referred to as the second high band antenna array in this paper).And each antenna array uses the technology of ±45°dual polarized antenna in order to form a multi-frequency antenna that holds ten independent ports.First of all,this paper studies the performance requirements of the multi-frequency base station antenna,and summarizes the two schemes of the multi-frequency base station antenna,in addition,the two schemes are simulated.Because the second high band is a new band,so the radiation element of the second high band is designed and optimized,and the voltage standing-wave ratio gets a good result at last.Secondly,the antenna arrays of two kinds of schemes are simulated and analyzed,and the scheme of side-by-side is chosen in the end.Subsequently,each antenna array of the multi-frequency base station antenna uses the technology of shaped-beam patterns,and the performance of the vertical pattern is optimized.Finally,the antenna is processed and measured.The measurement results of the antenna show that each antenna array has a good performance of circuit parameter indexes and the performance of radiation parameters can meet the basic requirement of application.Based on the facts that the designed multi-frequency base station antenna supports multiband communication,also supports the new band,in addition,the performances of the antenna meet the basic requirement generally,so the multi-frequency antenna has good practical application value. |
