With the rapid development of society,the speed of electronic equipment updating is accelerating day by day.The speed of special-shaped components insertion in traditional handicraft industry cannot meet the needs of society.Therefore,a plug-in machine with special-shaped components is produced.This paper will focus on the research of visual positioning system in the process of special-shaped components insertion.The main contents of this paper are summarized as follows:Firstly,on the basis of in-depth study of surface mounting and machine vision technology,the technical indicators of the vision positioning system studied in this paper are determined.According to the technical indicators and practical needs,the structure of the visual positioning system for special-shaped elements is designed.Meanwhile,the relevant hardware in the system lighting and image acquisition scheme is reasonably selected.Finally,the overall scheme design of the insertion and positioning of special-shaped elements in this paper is determined.Secondly,image preprocessing and edge contour information extraction are carried out for the datum point image collected by the system camera.The coordinates of the center of the datum point are extracted by PCA and piecewise RHT algorithm combined with least square fitting method.In order to recognize the type of special-shaped elements,the training data is constructed based on the orientation gradient histogram of the edge contour and the classification model is trained by SVM.The image depth is determined by checkerboard calibration method,and then the coordinates of the marker points of the special-shaped elements are obtained.According to the coordinate information obtained,the positioning of PCB reference point and the algorithm of rectifying the position and attitude of the special-shaped elements are studied in depth,and the position information of the specific jack of the special-shaped elements to be inserted is further determined to ensure the completion of the loading task.Mathematical vector method is used to solve the problem of position and attitude rectification in the course of rectifying the deviation of special-shaped elements.Finally,based on VS2012 development platform,C++ program language is used to develop the software of the special-shaped component cartridge visual positioning system in this paper.The positioning of reference points on the PCB board of the visual positioning system and the position correction algorithm of the special-shaped components are analyzed experimentally to determine whether the visual system meets its technical specifications.
