With the rapid development of Information Technology,social media emerged.Information dissemination channels and service methods have undergone disruptive changes.Because of the participation,openness,interactivity and connectivity,community characteristics,social media has gained support from the majority of users and acts as unique role in all walks of life.Social media has not only become an important channel for users to obtain information,however the content generated through users'participation is becoming an important information resource.It has become the trend of future development to build participatory archive by using social media and by widely encouraging the public,to jointly develop the information resources of archives.Based on the relevant theories of participatory archive,this paper summarizes three modes of participatory archive,namely collaborative construction of social institutions,crowd-sourcing,and community-based diversified participation.This paper contains six parts.First,instruction mainly tells research origin,significance,domestic and foreign literature review,content,methods,and innovation to construct participatory archive.Second,it presents related conception about social media and participatory archive.Third,it shows motivation,principles and significance to construct participatory archive in social media era.Forth,through analyzing three modes of participatory archive,we understand cases and risk analysis in constructing participatory archive.Fifth,it comes up with countermeasures on participatory archive construction by taking advantage of social media from aspects of resources construction,law and policy,and personnel awareness.Finally,we make conclusions on the paper and prospect the future of participatory archive construction.
