Study On The Significance Of Text Symbols In Audio-Visual Communication Of On The Scene

Since the discovery of symbols,a new world was widely open for the explanation of meanings of everything in this world.In this all inclusive society,meanings exist here and there,in human's thinking,emotion as well as behaviors,and the generation of which origins from that of symbols.It is clear that human society today has entered a "high symbolized era” which has been found in all fields such as anthropology,literature,sociology,mass media studies as well as film and television studies.In the field of film and television studies,the star reality show has become one of the hot variety shows these years,which accordingly comes with plenty of problems such as severe homogenization and shallow contents.As a key part of the variety show,the current situation and development of star reality show is worth much attention and explorations.On the Scene is a large scale star reality show which is an original program and specialized in voice performance appeared in 2018 by Hunan TV.Its production and broadcast has promoted the innovative development of reality shows to a certain extent,and the crazy viewing rates and hot topics that generated also has enhanced the research value of this paper.This paper studies the generation of text symbols of On the Scene and explores the deep referential and realistic meanings of it on the basis of the research on the significance of text symbols of audio visual communication by combining the semiotics theory with this reality show.This paper is consisted of five parts,which is organized and presented according to the research logic of symbolic text.First part is the introduction which focuses on such details as research background,method and theoretical definition.The following three parts deeply explores the composition of symbolic text on the basis of studying On the Scene.The second part mainly discusses the composition of symbolic text image which is the core element of the text consisted of visual symbol,audio symbol and character symbol.The third part discusses the operation of symbolic text's biaxial relationship,the prerequisite of the text,from the aspect of the narrative perspective,theme and the context.The fourth part is mainly about the operation of the accompany text(which refers to text boundary)of the symbolic text presented in terms of text,pretext and chain text.The last part comes to the conclusion to propose an improving advice for this show,which is the sublimation of the case study of On the Scene from the perspective of a single film and television text to the study of the development of star reality show.
