In the panel display technology,LED display panel is widely used in the field of media playback and information broadcast with the advantage of quick response,high brightness,long life,energy saving and perfect color displaying.With the development of LED industry,the improvement of COB(Chip on board)packaging process,the technology progress of the LED display,LED display panel already broken through the bottleneck technology of the high intensity and high definition.As the key part of the LED display panel,the LED display control system impact the performance of the displaying significantly.A long with the application of the LED display panel widely,the research of the parameter configurable LED control system is particularly important,the flexibility improvement of the LED display control system has practice significance and valuable in engineering application.This paper starting with the fundamental theory of colorimetry,introduced the color matching theory briefly,and theoretically introduced the color recovering and imaging principle of LED display panel,the architecture of the LED control system is introduced in detail.In order to solve the diversification in the sequence of LED pixel of LED display panel,this paper proposed a two-level cashing time division addressing decode method after deeply analyzed the characteristics of constant current PWM display driver technology.The point-to-point random addressing implementation with maximum 2048 pixels shift length achieved successfully with only 8kb memory capacity.The relationship between the parameters of LED display panel and synchronous control signal is modeled.The gray priority principle is proposed,and based on such principle,the mathematical expression of the relationship between screen parameters and synchronous control signal is deduced.In the paper the proposed the LED display control system choose FPGA as the core controller,and the hardware adopts the modular design,and the key function parts of the control system will be introduced in detail including the electronic component selection.Based on two level cashing time division addressing decode method and gray priority principle,the parameter configurable system FPGA architecture is designed.In this architecture the control system could be configured via command to fulfill different displaying requirement.
