Research On Schedule Optimize In Storage Server Development Program Management

The traditional storage server project based on HW upgrade and development in most cases,according to the core processer frequency,they can update and release their product,this kind of approach make the efficiency very low and maturity level too much rely on the HW itself.While it comes to 21 centuries,the high development in technology and information becomes the trend of the society.The customers became more and more focus on the feature like availability、security、flexibility instead of capacity and performance.That requires more and more SW support for example virtualization and cloud compute.The "waterfall" development model requires a complex process from top to down,that obviously cannot fulfill the demand from the market.The Agile development as a new concept had been accepted by more and more SW industry especially internet industry,it showed the power on “agility”.Plus,the traditional storage server industry changed its orientation to SW,that become reasonable for it to adopt the agile development.In this thesis,we will show you how EMC practice the agile development in its HCI platform and Nicias release,it's demonstrate how agile development helps to improve in terms of quality and communication efficiency via some good practices including Jira、Kanban、CI and etc.Furthermore,it's analyzed the problem in current project and proposed the suggestions on how to improve in the future.
