With the continuous development and expansion of telecommunication industry,5G era is on the way.China's telecommunication industry strives to compete with other countries,meanwhile seeking opportunity to take the lead in the future.In the fierce competition environment of the industry,besides the continuous innovation of communication technology,the value of human resource management plays a more and more significant role.Human resource management has been considerated as an important strategy,which has crucial impact on company success.What's more,HR department has gradually changed from the original non-mainstream functional department to strategic business partner for different business units,which contributes to the promotion of company's rapid development.Based on the research of performance appraisal management theories,targeting the performance appraisal system of salesman,systematic and comprehensive analysis has been conducted to existing problems,which includes unreasonable KPI indicators,inaccurate performance goal and standard,non-quantitative performance evaluation,unreasonable application of evaluation results,as well as the lack of management for process monitor.By reference to the method of key performance indicators(KPI)and balanced score card(BSC),the emphasis of research is on the improvement of performance appraisal of salesman of Z company's.It mainly includes the setting of performance indicators,clarification on proportion distribution of performance goals,rationalization of performance evaluation,application of performance assessment results in position promotion,and performance assessment results reflection in salary and welfare.By achieving those actions,Z company's performance appraisal system could been proceeded more scientifically,reasonably and fair,which encourage employees to work efficient and achieve high-value performance.Based on the research on the theories of Human Resource performance appraisal and combined with current status and issues of Z company's performance appraisal system for salesman,this thesis aims at the improvement of Z company's employee performance appraisal system by raising specific proposals and suggestions.The research methods adopted in this thesis are literature study and questionnaire survey.The related literature lays the foundation of the thesis;the questionnaire survey for salesman of Z company contributes the creditable data.With the support of both theories and survey,the problems of current performance appraisal systems,as well as employees' individual needs could be analyzed,therefore,the positive improvement for performance appraisal system could be constructed.
