With the explosive development of signal processing technology,the quantity of data processing in embedded signal processing system increases rapidly,the algorithms of signal processing are increasingly complex.So the computing environment to signal processing puts forward the pressing need.In order to meet the increasing demand for signal processing system,the signal processing platform which focus on high-speed serial bus technology and high performance processor has been rapidly developed.Based on the bus technology and the microprocessor technology development trend,researched on the ATCA architecture and AMC standard which put forward by PICMG organization.This paper carried out the design and implementation work of the high-performance AMC processing card on ATCA platform.As a embedded module of ATCA platform,the AMC processing card can easily extend the function of ATCA platform,realize the versatility,expandability and reconfigurable ability of ATCA platform,enhance its processing capability.Under the constraint of ATCA and AMC agreement,firstly,based on two types of high-performance processor of FPGA and DSP,this paper puts forward the overall design scheme of AMC signal processing card.On this basis,the design of each module circuit has realized the Fabric and Base architecture on the ATCA system.Through the combination of hardware circuit design and software design,solved the key problems of various types chips design,SRIO and 10 Gigabit Ethernet design,high speed serial communication protoco conversion,AMC interface design,etc.Formed two kinds of AMC signal processing cards respectively based on large capacity FPGA and high performance the DSP.Secondly,in order to achieve the system level applied,remote,real-time deployment,and easily to carry out the system upgrade,maintenance,update tasks,the research and design work has been carried out on the remote dynamic loading function.Finally,debugging the two cards on the board-level,developing the board support package,After the board level testing,the result shows that the card has strong ability of signal processing.When the AMC card embedded to ATCA system,the test results show the system has a powerful data throughput capacity.Based on the achievements of this paper,a new signal processing system with powerful,reconfigurable hardware and software updated can be easily built.The new signal processing system can satisty the requirements of the growing information processing capacity.
