| Publicity activities carried out by female students studying in Japan in the late Qing Dynasty have been mentioned as a part of research by scholars in academic circles,but rarely as the main object of study.As practical activities,their publicity activities in Japan have pioneering significance.Their appeal for women's education and women's rights is far-sighted.They organize female organization,set up women's newspapers and periodicals,seeking to make their voices heard to the public,and strive for women's rights they should have.Taking publicity activities carried out by female students studying in Japan in the late Qing Dynasty as the main research object,and taking historical materials as reference,this paper tries to sort out their main purpose,as well as the promotional gist of the representative newspapers and periodicals.There are three parts in this paper: The first part reviews the history of Chinese female students studying in Japan at the end of Qing Dynasty,summarizes the beginning and climax of female students studying in Japan at the end of Qing Dynasty.Then elaborates their main social activities in Japan,mainly including three aspects.Firstly,introduce the female organizations they founded in Japan.Secondly,introduce the anti-imperialism and national salvation campaign that they participated in.Finally,it is the introduction of several newspapers and magazines they founded.The second part mainly introduces how the female students publicize their views by publicity activities.Including their publicity by Jiangsu magazine,which was founded by students studying in Japan in the late Qing Dynasty.And the turning point of their ideological awakening according to their performance in the anti-Russian movement.Collate the contents of their articles published in Jiangsu magazine and present the representative viewpoints.Then take three newspapers and magazines founded by female students studying in Japan and their founders as research objects,Yanbin and China New Women's Circle Magazine,He Zhen and Tianyi Newspaper,as well as the Association of Women Studying in Japan and Journal of the Society of Women Studying in Japan.Through collecting and collating a large number of historical materials,this part introduces the establishment of these three newspapers and magazines and tries to summarize their main ideas.The last part integrates the theme of the newspapers and periodicals set up by the female students studying in Japan,introduces their rebellion against the traditional gender system,the idea of building a new gender culture,and the tendency of awakening women's national consciousness reflected in their publicity activities in their publicity activities.The last part of the conclusion summarizes the full text and clarifies the pioneer significance of their publicity activities. |
