| Mobile Ad Hoc Network(MANET)has a series of characteristics,such as no center,no dependence on fixed infrastructure,and can be quickly constructed.It has important application value in military communications and civil communications.The routing protocol is a guarantee for the network node to communicate normally,and its performance will directly affect the overall performance of the network.However,the dynamic characteristics of the network make the routing design of ad hoc networks face severe challenges.Traditional routing protocols,such as table-driven routing protocol and ondemand routing protocol,are only applicable to specific network scenarios.There is no single routing protocol that can satisfy all network scenarios.How to flexibly use the existing multiple routing protocols to ensure optimal performance of the network in different scenarios is of great significance.This paper designs an adaptive routing protocol switching strategy based on network context awareness.By dynamically perceiving the current network scenario,it matches the most suitable routing protocol for the network and guarantees the optimal performance of the mobile ad hoc network.Firstly,the characteristics of traditional routing protocols are sorted out,and two typical routing protocols,DSR and DSDV,are emphatically studied.Their performances are compared and simulated,which provides a priori knowledge for the construction of policy repository.The traditional network situational awareness technology is used to recognize the current network environment;A low-overhead distributed negotiation strategy is designed.This strategy adopts an improved Multipoint Relay(IMPR)mechanism to achieve reliable transmission and collection of routing protocol switching decision information with low overhead.According to the large number decision criterion proposed in this paper,the fast and consistent convergence of routing protocol switching process is realized.A compatibility design scheme of routing protocol is proposed to solve the problem of communication discontinuity caused by inconsistent routing protocols adopted by adjacent nodes in the process of routing protocol switching.Finally,the adaptive routing protocol switching strategy based on network context awareness is modeled and simulated in OPNET network simulation platform,and compared with DSDV protocol,DSR protocol and existing adaptive routing protocol switching algorithm.The simulation results show that the adaptive routing protocol switching strategy proposed in this paper can maximize the overall utility value of the network and thus adapt to the dynamic changes of the mobile ad hoc network. |
