In the last decades of the previous century,the world economy moved to a post-industrial society shifting from large-scale production of goods to production of services.The main production resources have become knowledge,information and scientific achievements.Due to the development of technologies,now it is possible to unite and gather the whole world in one place.In such conditions of globalization economy,we receive a wide range of new opportunities.Economic activities,carried out with the help of IT-technologies,are effective and profitable.As a result,a new sector call ed e-commerce is emerging in the global economy.This master thesis is dedicated to the topic – Analysis of factors influencing on e-commerce development in Russia.The purpose of the research is to increase the speed of e-commerce development in Russia and overcome the negative trends by providing conclusions and recommendations for formulating strategies to boost e-commerce in the country.The work context answers to such questions as what is the e-commerce market,gives an idea of the Russian and world e-commerce market as a whole,provides the characteristics of e-business in Russia,determines which factors influence on the development of e-commerce in Russia,and represents recommendational strategies for the further development of e-commerce in the country.E-commerce is a relevant topic due to the seen fact,that Russian e-commerce market is developing rapidly.For more than a decade e-commerce has had very high growth rates worldwide and in Russia.E-commerce provides significant potential for economic development in each country,therefore its fast pace should not be lost in the future.There is an evidence of rapid e-commerce development.Online stores in Russia have grown over the past five years.This indicates the dynamics of the e-commerce market,meanwhile the development of computer and Internet technologies which are the basis for online activities.Despite such opportunities as the growth in the number of active Internet users,the large territory of the country,the diversity of customer needs,the development of non-cash payments,the growth of cross-border relations in the field of e-commerce,especially from the Asian region,there are certain problems faced by consumers and businesses.The main problem is that Russia belongs to the sec ond wave markets,giving in the world leaders in the development of e-commerce,therefore foreign investors are afraid to invest in the development of this sphere,especially in remote areas from the capital,because in these regions e-commerce is poorly developed.The development of e-commerce is influenced by several groups of factors,the impact of which may be positive or negative.In order to stimulate the development of e-commerce,it was necessary to know how to balance factors and what strategies to apply for further development.The study presents the implementation of an econometric model to identify the dependence of the development of e-commerce in Russia on the factors affecting it.Using the methods of multiple correlation and linear regressio n analysis,the most influencing factors were found.The results are explained by the economic conditions in Russia,and the strategies were developed to overcome the negative consequences.They focuse on two main subjects – business and government,that must work together in the market,and only then can significant improvements be achieved.Whereas the government must pay much more attention to law and economic aspects,business should focus on product and costumer aspects.The conclusions presented in the frameworks of the thesis are important for the Russian government in order to increase the potential of the e-commerce market of the country,as well as it has a significance for the development of e-business in Russia by domestic and foreign companies.
