| Under the background of social transformation,the family structure and intergenerational relationship in our society are facing new changes and difficulties.During this period,intergenerational communication and exchange issues have increasingly become a topic of concern to society and families.As the main source of information for the public to obtain information,the media's content and form of information will directly affect the public's understanding of the information.At the same time,China's media has also undergone changes and transformations.The media has paid more attention to social issues related to the general public and actively played the role of public opinion guidance."Zhongqing Online" is a mainstream media dedicated to serving young people,and intergenerational relationship is also an important content of its reporting,which greatly outputs and affects the youth's value cognition of intergenerational relationship.In the past,communication scholars' research on intergenerational relations was mainly reflected in the two directions under the environment of media change.On the one hand,digital / social media influenced the intergenerational media use and communication mode.For this reason,foreign scholars tended to enrich Intergenerational communication model,domestic scholars focused on the issues of "digital gap" and "media literacy";On the other hand,the family perspective of the media market has turned,and domestic scholars have explored its presentation of intergenerational relations on this basis.However,these scholars did not talk about the official media 's presentation of intergenerational relations,nor did they deal with the issues of intergenerational relations and changes of the times.Therefore,this article attempts to discuss the official media 's presentation of intergenerational relations.The research method is content analysis.Operation,content analysis of a total of 354 samples of intergenerational relations from 2009 to 2019 in "China Youth Online" to answer the key question of how the official media present intergenerational relations.The main contents of this article are as follows: First,sort out the previous studies of intergenerational relations by communication scholars,so as to establish the value of research significance and grasp the specific issues of intergenerational relations;secondly,the design of research methods and the establishment of coding operations;Analysisof the profile and characteristics of inter-generational relations reporting by China Youth Online,including how to report on inter-generational relations issues,whether there are relevant changes in the topics over time,and what solutions the official media provides when facing inter-generational conflicts;then Further refine the "China Youth Online" intergenerational relationship report on the construction of elder and junior roles and the limitations of reporting.This research is expected to draw the attitude and position of the official media in presenting intergenerational relations,thereby filling the gaps in the academic circle's thinking about this.Through research,it was found that the official media represented by "China Youth Online" reported intergenerational relations on the whole,reflecting the current status of intergenerational relations in China,closely integrated with social development,and adjusting the content of the reports as social transformation and the transformation of intergenerational contradictions.And form,and play an active role in guiding public opinion.Specifically,the intergenerational relationship has gradually become an important reporting topic of "China Youth Online";attention is paid to the adjustment and resolution of intergenerational differences;the report is biased in the position of juniors from the perspective of unequal;the practice of elders is negative,and the practice of juniors is positive;Comprehensive but lacking depth.At the same time,it also found that "China Youth Online" attaches great importance to the reporting of intergenerational relations,but also has limitations,such as the failure to balance the reporting body and the source of the news,the failure to give full play to the positive reports on the practice of elders,and the lack of a deeper and broader perspective Exploration,lack of awareness to convey the concept of healthy intergenerational relations to the public through intergenerational relations reports.The limitations of this article are: first,only the intergenerational relationship report of the "China Youth Online" media is selected for research,and the research object is relatively single;second,due to the lack of energy,there is a lack of in-depth research on the sample,such as the lack of coverage of the title and specific reports Discourse analysis of the content;Finally,due to the limited accumulation of the author,there is a lack of systematic sociological knowledge.The above limitations are expected to be further explored in future research. |
