Power Communication Network(PCN)is an important infrastructure to support the production and operation of power grid.As the most important group of PCN,the power optical transmission network(POTN)provides a channel for various kinds of business information.At present,the POTN of Jiangsu Province takes SDH as its main technological means,covers the power grid of various types of factory stations and office space,and is divided into provincial optical transmission network,and regional optical transmission network.With the construction of smart grid in Jiangsu,all kinds of application systems are constantly upgrading and developing,and the demand for bandwidth of optical transmission network is increasing rapidly.Business has put forward higher security requirements for communication specialty.All-IP,broad bandwidth and large particles will become the mainstream of trunk business development.According to various business development plans of Jiangsu Power Grid and the business requirements of various substations,this thesis analyzed the characteristics of each service from the aspects of node distribution,business flow direction,access bandwidth,interconnection ports,etc.The network structure model is established,and each network is calculated hierarchically and horizontally,and the bandwidth requirement of each network is calculated by plane.On the basis of the above,the paper analyzed the current mature mainstream.And by combination with the current situation of Jiangsu Electric POTN,a choice of suitable technical system,and a proposal for networking transformation,are put forward:The mode of Provincial OTN should basically maintain the status;the regional core layer may use the OTN+SDH system to built a new core hosting network,and the network is adjusted and implemented to make it more suitable for business;the regional distribution layer supporting the construction of a dual-plane network should be based on the 10Gb/s SDH;and the access layer upgrades the existing network bandwidth.
