The ocean is an important base for the sustainable development of mankind.The development and utilization of the ocean is a reliable way to solve a series of difficult problems the human society facing,such as population expansion,resource shortage and environmental degradation.Underwater wireless communication and underwater sensor network technologies have emerged as the times require.And all of this is inseparable from efficient underwater wireless communication.Up to now,underwater wireless communication can be divided into three categories:Underwater electromagnetic wave communication,underwater acoustic communication and underwater wireless optical communication.Although the first two technologies are relatively mature,their communication capacity and delay cannot meet the growing demands for underwater communication.Therefore,the research of wireless optical communication technology is particularly important.Researchers from all over the world are committed to the research of this technology and the development of corresponding prototypes.Compared with the traditional underwater wireless communication method,the underwater visible light LED communication technology overcomes the shortcomings of slow underwater acoustic communication rate and large delay,and at the same time solves the problem of difficulty in the alignment of underwater blue-green laser communication.This paper studies the underwater wireless optical communication technology based on blue-green LEDs.The main work and innovations of the paper are as follows:1.Designed the OOK signal transmitting and receiving module based on the switch circuit and PMT detector in underwater LED wireless optical communication,and conducted a comparative analysis through hardware test verification.The results show that the implementation method based on the switch circuit and PMT detection module has the advantages of high coupling power and high sensitivity;2.Realize real-time signal processing based on FPGA,and design data frame structure,realized bit synchronization,frame synchronization and RS codec module,and carry out experimental verification.The results show that the system can realize real-time signal transmission without error codes;3.Designed the LED luminous array,cooperated with the corresponding optical module and sealed cabin,a real-time underwater LED wireless optical communication prototype experimental platform is built.After experimental testing,the results show that the underwater visible light LED communication system supports real-time video signal transmission.
