In the context of experiential consumption,users and designers are looking for a more natural behavioral interaction relationship between products and people,and Affordance,a theory which originated from ecological psychology,explores the behaviors generated by organisms in the environment after receiving information.This project takes the speaker as the entry point,through the affordance product design model and process,to solve the function stacking and homogeneity problems of speakers,so that the speaker design refocuses on the relationship between users,products and the environment.First,researched and compared the domestic and foreign literatures of Affordance.From the perspective of psychology,ecological psychology and design,to clarify Affordance in different periods and fields,and lay the theoretical foundation for building a design model and process.Secondly,through literature research,case analysis and inductive deduction method,to get two product information presentation paths and four affordance types in product design,build an Affordance product design model base on Lewin's human behavior formula and an Affordance product design process base on user-centric method.Thirdly,researching and analyzing the structure and components of speaker,the market of speaker industry and competing products.The problem of homogenization of speaker design in appearance,function and interaction is obvious.Through analyzing the big data reports to get the target users' living characteristics and lifestyles.Using user interviews and users' logs to deep research several speaker users,then drawing user portraits,typical usage scenarios and establishing user behavior information database.Finally,using the Affordance product design model to select in the user behavior information database and do brainstorming.Using these user behaviors by objective sketching or perception replacement in operation design of speaker to get several design schemes.Analyzing and comparing the information presentation paths and the affordance types in these schemes,to decide a final scheme to build a design elements chart and design the corresponding details.The new speaker design in this project used Affordance theory in design phase to observe the design source in daily life,build an ecological relationship between speakers,users and the environment.During this project to improve product usability and intuitive operating experience of speaker.And in the background of the transformation of users' lifestyle,making this design project to meet users' needs and expectations,enhance the user experience and convey the additional design value.At the same time,verifying the feasibility of the design modal and process that built in this project.
