In the process of the establishment,survival and development of the enterprise,it is necessary to obtain the internal and external information resources which are beneficial to the enterprise value creation and to seize the market share in time.The social attributes of corporate executives' roles and the role of information roles determine that he should assume internal and external responsibilities.It also embodies the extension of the theory of social capital to the field of organizational management.In Chinese "guanxi shehui",how can the business executives bring the information resources and meet the needs of enterprises to maximize the value of the enterprise through the business ties and political links?Answering the question not only helps executives understand social resources influence mechanism to the enterprise value,also can make executives aware of how to use their own social resources to improve the competitiveness of enterprises.As a result,the research of the problem has theoretical and practical significance.Based on the theory of social capital,this paper takes the middle and top managers of the enterprises as the object of study.And it studies whether the executive social ties can affect the individual job performance.This paper defines the difference between the two dimensions,constructs the theoretical model of the social association and the job performance and analyzes the mechanism of the two dimensions to the job performance.At the same time,the research introduces emotional intelligence as a regulatory variable to examine the relationship between executive intelligence and intelligence on the relationship between executive social association and job performance.Based on the theoretical and empirical studies both at home and abroad,this paper puts forward the conceptual framework and theoretical model.Through the scientific and effective scale,this paper designs the questionnaire,strictly excludes the influence of the interference factors to ensure the measurement of each variable reasonable and effective.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The impact of executive social association on job performance.The commercial and political ties have obvious difference in the resources type,consumption time,achievement orientation and potential risks.Especially the enterprise managers' social ties can provide different types of information resources for enterprises,which helps enterprises understand the different path of social ties.Therefore,the two dimensions of social ties have different effects on job performance.Executive business ties and job performance(task performance,contextual performance,adaptability performance)was positively correlated.On one hand,senior business association will promote the improvement of job performance;on the other hand,business low ties will lead to poor job performance.As for the relation of executive political ties and job performance(task performance,peripheral performance,adaptability performance),there is an inverted U-shaped impact.That is,there is a critical political ties before the threshold.Political ties have a positive effect on job performance.Job performance increases with the degree of tightening of political relations.On the contrary,exceeding the critical value,the role of political association will develop in the opposite direction.Job performance decreases with the tightening of political ties.Thus too high or low political ties can not have the greatest effect on job performance.And political co-ordination has an impact on job performance in the form of pre-looting.(2)Emotional intelligence plays an important role in the regulation of the relationship between social ties and work performance.Emotional intelligence increases with the maturity of the individual.And the richer the experience,the more emotional intelligence can be fully utilized.This study shows that emotional intelligence can affect executive social ties and work performance.High emotional intelligence helps executives assess themselves and the emotions of others.And it is beneficial to correctly use each other's emotional state to seek internal and external advantages for enterprises.The main contributions of this paper are as follows: the paper deepens the understanding of the association of the executive society,distinguishes the market from the government and provides a new theoretical explanation and practical path for the individual job performance.Corporate executives can moderately establish internal and external relations to provide new ideas,new methods for their own work to overcome their own disadvantages and improve job performance.To a certain extent,this paper reveals that the role of executive social association in the performance of the black box.Because of political relations on the performance of inverted U-shaped impact,the enterprise can establish supervision and incentive mechanisms to prevent adverse effects and reduce loss due to improper political ties.
