An Empirical Investigation Of The Relationship Between Corporate Governance Mechanisms,CEO Characteristics On Overseas Listed Chinese High-Tech Companies' Performance

This paper mainly studies the corporate governance mechanism and the influence of CEO on the performance of Chinese listed companies on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange.Through the literature research on the performance of Chinese enterprises listed overseas,we find that different literatures have different effects on CEO characteristics and corporate governance to corporate performance.Through the study of literature and hypothesis of corporate governance and firm performance hypothesis and CEO Characteristics and corporate performance through relationship between the NASDAQ listed China enterprise performance and corporate governance and CEO characteristics were studied,in this paper,the independent variable is divided into corporate governance variables and CEO characteristics variables,and adding control variables,for selected variables.In this paper,the six variables represent the business performance,and on the base of the previous research into enterprises overseas sales income as a measure of corporate performance variables.On the basis of setting hypothesis,this paper establishes a multiple linear regression model,using STATA software to calculate the corresponding conclusions.We study that used different variables represent the business performance,influence of corporate governance variables and CEO characteristics variables on firm performance will have differences.At the same time,the effects of corporate governance and CEO Characteristics of overseas sales we find that overseas sales revenue and number of independent directors is positively related to said and internal shareholding and board size is negative correlation.Investigating the relationship between overseas sales income and CEO characteristics we found that overseas sales revenue and CEO in part-time was positively correlated,the living conditions of the CEO and management experience and CEO showed negative correlation...
