In order to explore the important role of urban spatial structure plays in the development of the industry, improve and deepen the research framework of spatial structure, and reveal the numerical relationship, evolution process and mechanism between the urban spatial structure and the development of the industry, provide a theoretical basis for China's urban planning system, the article confirmed that there have a long-term stable association between the urban spatial structure and the development of the industry through the correlation coefficient. Then choose the index system which includes concentricity, distribution degree, urban interaction index and road network density to measure regional spatial structure, try to analyse whether support force from urbanization to industry is different when the dominant industry is changed. And try to discuss what influence the urban spatial structure will make to different industry in different time.Using qualitative and quantitative analysis method, the results show that:(1)There is a positive correlation between the industrial development and the urbanization development, and the coupling coordination is on the rise.(2)Under the different leading industries, there are some differences in the factors which affect the construction of cities.(3)The spatial structure is quite different among different cities, and the spatial structure of cities has different impacts on different industries. The multi-center agglomeration of population facilitates the development of secondary industry while the single center agglomeration of population is beneficial to the tertiary industry development.
