Entrepreneurship has been regarded as an important factor in economic growth and social development.It has important practical significance to explore the influencing factors of entrepreneurial behavior.The research on the influencing factors of entrepreneurial behavior has always focused on individual factors.However,from the external environment,China is in a new normal state of economic development,and entrepreneurial enterprises are highly sensitive to the institutional environment.More and more scholars have begun to pay attention to the institutional level.The influence of entrepreneurial activities,especially the neglected informal institutions and social factors.Institutional theory points out that the system and the external environment are important factors affecting the level of entrepreneurial activity in different regions,and informal institutions that are embedded in culture and ideology in the form of culture,customs,ethics,and norms are the basis of formal institutions,and they are economic behaviors.Create deeper and broader impact.As an important part of the informal system,social capital can provide entrepreneurs with credit guarantees,resources,and resource bases,which have a very significant impact on the development of entrepreneurial activities.An important feature of the transition economy is that there is a "vacancy" in the formal system and there is a high degree of environmental uncertainty.The informal system can make up for the absence of a formal system.The root cause of the greater differences in the institutional environment and entrepreneurial activity in different regions of China's economic development is the imbalance in the process of marketization.Different degrees of marketization will cause social capital to produce different types of entrepreneurial behavior.influences.Based on this,on the basis of reviewing and analyzing domestic and foreign related literature,this study explores the impact of social capital on entrepreneurial behavior and the degree of marketization on the above-mentioned relationship.Specifically,the three most important elements of social capital-social networks,political networks,and social trust-have different effects on individual entrepreneurial behavior.The degree of marketization in the individual's region plays a role in regulating these effects.Social trust is further divided into two dimensions,special and universal,and its influence on entrepreneurial behavior is explored.Using the 2012 and 2014 China Labor Dynamics Survey(CLDS)questionnaires,including 9,259 entrepreneurial data for individuals and families in 29 regions,empirical analysis of the data using stata13 statistical software showed that:(1)The impact of social capital on entrepreneurial behavior,social networks were used to start businesses.The behavior has a significant positive effect.The political network has a significant negative impact on entrepreneurial behavior.Social trust has no significant effect on entrepreneurial behavior,and the general social trust in social trust has a significant positive impact on entrepreneurial behavior,the special social trust has no significant effect on entrepreneurial behavior.(2)The degree of marketization plays a regulatory role in the relationship between social capital and entrepreneurial behavior.The concrete performance is that the higher the degree of marketization,the influence of social capital on entrepreneurial behavior will be weakened.Previous researches on entrepreneurial influencing factors are mainly from the personal level,but this study discusses the influence of social capital on entrepreneurial behavior and the regulatory role of marketization from the perspective of institutional theory.The conclusions obtained help to enrich and expand the research on the influencing factors of entrepreneurial behavior.From the perspective of policy advice,it provides certain reference for entrepreneurs to make full use of subjective and objective conditions to carry out entrepreneurial activities,and has certain enlightenment significance for the country or region through the establishment of top-level design to create an entrepreneurial atmosphere and optimize the entrepreneurial structure.
