With the continuous transformation and upgrading of the financial market in China,the credit card market is also developing rapidly.Although the development time of the credit card market is relatively late,the development speed and the space of development can not be underestimated.The concept of credit consumption has gradually come into the hearts of the people.Rapid development,so the big commercial banks are actively expanding the credit card customers,making the credit card amount of almost geometric growth,credit consumption has become a trend.In March 1985,the Bank of China issued the first credit card in the history of China.The credit card market in China has also been a considerable scale after more than 30 years of development.With the increasing number of card issuing,the major commercial banks have paid more attention to the quality of the card,pay more attention to the service level of the credit card business,pay more attention to the risk management of credit card business and pay attention to the brand image of the credit card business.In order to compete with the credit card market,the major commercial banks continue to launch new credit card products and marketing programs,making the credit card business an indispensable part of the retail business of commercial banks.As the first bank to issue credit card in China,the Bank of China has a long history,has a strong capital strength,advanced management concept,high internationalization degree,effective risk management and good brand image.Therefore,the Bank of China has been in the leading position in the primary stage of credit card development and the the Great Wall card system under the Bank of China's Bank.It was also a symbol of identity at that time.However,with the state of the big commercial banks entering the horse race,the market share of the credit card market of the Bank of China has been decreasing year by year,the adverse rate has increased year by year,the risk of credit card is gradually exposed,and it does not match its status in the financial market.In order to get a better understanding of the credit card business of the Bank of China,this paper investigates and interviews the development and risk control of the credit card business of the Bank of China L branch by means of questionnaire survey and interview.This paper mainly investigates the motivation of client card,the channel of business card,the habit of using card,the awareness of customer risk,the risk behavior of the signing merchant and the risk behavior in the bank.It conducts the investigation from three aspects of the customer,the contract merchant and the bank,and uses the SPSS software to analyze the reliability of the overall validity of the questionnaire,and through the analysis of the results of the survey.To find out the problems existing in the credit card business development and risk control of Bank of China L branch,and then put forward the feasible countermeasures and suggestions from the two aspects of the internal and external environment of the bank.
